From the chains that bind us tight,
From the pain that grips our hearts,
From the darkness of the night.
Someday we'll all be free,
From the shackles of our minds,
From the doubts that hold us back,
And the fear that makes us blind.
Someday we'll all be free,
From the hate that fills our hearts,
From the anger and the rage,
And the violence that tears us apart.
Someday we'll all be free,
To live our lives as we choose,
To chase our dreams and passions,
And never again be bruised.
Someday we'll all be free,
And love will reign supreme,
And peace will be our constant guide,
And hope will be our ultimate theme.
Someday we'll all be free,
And in that freedom, we'll find,
The true meaning of our lives,
And joy that fills our souls and minds.
