In moments of reflection,
My heart fills with emotion,
As memories flood my mind,
Of days once lived, now gone.
The sentimental feelings,
Of love and joy and pain,
All intertwined within me,
As I try to explain.
The warmth of childhood hugs,
The laughter of good friends,
The tears of heartfelt sorrow,
The love that never ends.
Every moment captured,
In my heart and in my soul,
Bringing back the recollection,
Of a life that once was whole.
The sentimental scenes,
Of life's enduring course,
Remind me of the beauty,
Of every single source.
So let my heart be sentimental,
For every day that's passed,
For every moment cherished,
And all that will forever last.
