When you get right down to it,
Life is a fleeting dream,
A never-ending journey
Towards a horizon unseen.
In every step we take,
In every breath we draw,
We walk the path of destiny,
With all its joy and awe.
But time keeps ticking away,
And soon the end draws nigh,
When all that we've held dear
Is but a flicker in the sky.
So, cherish every moment,
Live fully, with all your might,
For when you get right down to it,
Life is a fleeting light.
May every day be precious,
Every night be full of grace,
And when the final bell tolls,
May you leave this world with a smiling face.
For in the end, what matters most
Is not the path we've trod,
But the love we've given and received,
And the memories we've shared with God.
