How can I ease the pain,
and make it end once and for all?
This hurt inside my heart,
feels like it will never stall.
I've tried to find some solace,
in every single way.
But the ache still exists,
and doesn't seem to go away.
Perhaps a kind embrace,
or words of love and care.
Could be the perfect remedy,
to help my heart repair.
Forgetting the sadness,
and all the pain it entailed.
May take some time and effort,
but with gentle hands, it may be unveiled.
So, I'll keep searching high and low,
for the key that fits the lock.
And through the tears and endless sorrow,
I'll slowly lift away the rock.
And when I've found the cure,
that eases all this strife.
I'll know the power of healing,
and breathe freely in my life.
