Leavin' for a dream,
A journey that's unknown,
Leavin' behind what once had been,
And venturing towards the unshown.
The road may be rough and rocky,
But the scenery is to die for,
Every step taken proving,
That my determination is secure.
I've got my hopes and aspirations,
To keep me going strong,
My dreams are my motivation,
And my passion is what drives me along.
The destination may be far and wide,
But I'm willing to take the chance,
For what lies ahead is a way of life,
That will make every moment worth the dance.
I'll cherish the memories of the past,
And remain grateful for the present,
But the future is my canvas,
And it's up to me to make it effervescent.
So, I'm leavin' for a dream,
But I'm not really leaving at all,
For the dream will always be with me,
And in it, I'll stand tall.
