Instead of waking him up when we got to the office building I called Jay to come to the parking garage so Jay could carry him in and we could all be together when Mason woke up.
I would think Mason wants us both there.
A few hours passed and Mason was asleep on the couch directly across from my desk.
I was contemplating waking him up so he wouldn't have a hard time sleeping tonight.
Since i didn't have anything to do for the rest of the day i was going to go home but i didn't want to leave mason here with Julien.
Not that Jay can't handle him. It just makes more sense for me to take him home.
I gently walked over to the couch and rubbed the young boy's back soothing him awake.
As he woke up he let out a little whine and began searching for me.
I assured him that I was right there and picked him up so we could go tell Jay that we were leaving for the day.
The look on my husband's face when he saw that our baby was finally in his headspace.
He gave me a kiss and then kissed Mason's head and told me he would be home around three o'clock.
Out of nowhere I heard something I never thought I would hear from the boy in the back "momma?" I smiled and tried not to squeal like a schoolgirl before answering him, "yes baby?" he giggled and looked around for a second "daddy whewe?" he looked at me getting upset.
