Chapter 50

(Layna's pov)

I was at work in the middle of a meeting when Jay sent an sos text message telling me that something happened and i need to get home right away. I knew that it wasn't something life threatening, it is probably something to do with Mason, Jay had gone thome earlier so that he could relieve Peyton. When I walked into the living room I knew what happened, Mason had slipped into his baby space with Peyton and now Peyton was stuck here.

We all had to go to Peytons house together because Mason wasn't having anyone leave him. Of course no one fucking told me that Mason called peyton dada until i heard him say it. "Dada" Mason said softly, reaching for Peyton. Peyton picked him and I just watched the exchange "I'm here baby, you're okay, why dont you go to mommy?" Peyton asked as Mason reached for me.

I looked at Mason and smiled, this is the best thing that could have happened today, "hey bubba, you getting ready for nap time?" as if on cue he yawned and started looking for his paci, thank god i grabbed it, he put it in his mouth and almost immediately started falling asleep in my arms.

I hadn't thought about the talk that had to come with Mason calling Peyton dada. I mean we were prepared for it, of course this is what we wanted, but Peyton had to learn Mason's rules and his antics. Me and Julien had to make sure that he was ready for this, because this is an all in relationship.

I set Mason in his bouncer so we could see him and so he would stay asleep. Me and the other two boys sat on the couch and began discussing if Peyton could handle this, if he was going to be there whenever Maon wanted. Peyton looked a little upset so we stopped talking so that way he could talk "i want him, i want him to be my little boy, i will take care of him, i will always be there for him even if i'm working" he spat before standing up and leaving the room.
