As Satine lays on her blush for the final touches to her makeup routine, the bathroom door opens and Peter walks in.

"What're you getting all pretty for?" He tosses out a toothpick.

"I'm going on a date with Lexi." She grins while closing the container. "I have to look hot."

"You already are." He walks out.

She slowly smiles with a small giggle and puts away her mess before following behind him. He stays seated at the small round table that sits against the wall the furthest away from the door. She makes her way over and sits on the ledge of the wall with her back facing the large window.

"You seem very concentrated." She pushes her fingers through his hair as he lightly grabs a gentle hold of her knee with the hand furthest away from her, eyes focused on the laptop screen in front of him. "Don't overdo it."

"I won't." He assures softly. "You don't have to worry."

"I know, but you tend to get sucked into things that require a good amount of attention. Which, I guess, would be a good thing for college, but still." She nods and he smiles a bit while turning to look up at her.

"I won't this time." He teases and she grins a bit, trying to hold it down.

"Are you lying?" She grazes her nails along his temple.

"... Maybe." He squints an eye and she chuckles while standing.

"If I come back and you're still working, I'm going to throw this computer away." She moves around him while dragging her hand across his shoulders. "I expect to steal your time as well." She nods with raised brows and cups his cheek.

"Okay." He grins. "Kiss me before you go."

She shakes her head at him with pursed lips as he places his hand on her hip. She moves her hair over one shoulder and leans down to press her soft and smooth lips to his for a long and slow kiss. She stands back up and swings around to head towards the door and open it up.

"I love you." He calls after her and she turns back.

"I love you too." She nods before looking at the computer. "Think I'm joking." She challenges and he grins adoringly.

"So cute." He teases and turns forward.

She shakes her head with her tongue poking her cheek before she leaves the room and closes the door behind her, leaving him to smile at her empty threats.

She starts heading for the garage door right away and even gets to wave goodbye to Bucky and Wanda before she's heading towards her car, a red Corvette Stingray.

She makes her way towards Lexi's apartment and parks right out front to get her attention with a text. Minutes later, the front door swings open and Lexi is running out with a bright smile to hurry into the front seat.

"My Spider-Girl!" She greets excitedly and Satine laughs as they pull each other into a long awaited hug. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too." She squeezes her eyes shut before they let go a few seconds afterwards. "You look so good, so beautiful."

"Thank you, Lover." She grins while pulling on her seatbelt. "So do you."

Satine waits with a smile for her to be set before she turns on the radio and starts to drive. They head for a cute little restaurant, where they can sit at one of the small tables out front and order their food and alcoholic drinks from there. Though Satine can't feel the alcohol, she still enjoys the taste of most, especially the fruity drinks. If she can't get drunk, she might as well still enjoy her time away from home.

"Anything interesting going on with you?" Satine takes a drink from her straw and watches a slow grin grow across her face. "Anything new you need to share with me?" She places her glass back on the table with a suspicious tone about it.

"I may have met someone." She states calmly and she smiles. "Her name is Anna."

"Oh, what's she like?" She breathes while leaning forward a bit.

"She so sweet." She shakes her head with furrowed brows. "So sweet. One of the kindest women I have ever met and you can tell she got that from her mother." She states as the excitement of the topic starts to become visible through her body. "She's so smart, so funny. She can handle my ADHD." She jokes and she chuckles. "She has it herself, so it's like a perfect match."

"Yes, it is." She rests her chin on the backs of her hands.

"She enjoys art and music, she's even a dancer."

"Oh, flexible." She teases and she laughs a bit.

"You have no idea." She shakes her head and she claps once while sitting back and laughing too. "She's just..." She pushes her hair behind her ear with a chuckle. "It's insane. She's amazing."

"Do you love her?" She pulls her bottom lip between her teeth.

"I think so." She nods fast. "But, I don't know, 'cause it's so quick. We've only been together for about a month."

"And that's just fine." She shakes her head. "I fell in love with Peter within two months into our relationship and it only took us a little over a month and a half to have sex at sixteen."

"Damn." She furrows her brows while looking her up and down. "Whore."

"Oh, but it was so worth it." She shakes her head with wide eyes and a satisfied sigh, making her smile. "But, anyway, I hear it's normal for women that love women to fall in love quickly." She states and she nods sideways in agreement. "There's nothing wrong with how you're feeling then."

"Thanks." She hangs her head with a small smile. "Well, speaking of..." she looks back up. "How are you and Peter? You've only been together for five years, you're bound to have gotten at least a little tired of him or something." She jokes.

"I actually have not gotten tired of him, I love him very much." She chuckles, making her smile.

"How's he doing with school?"

"I really have no idea how he's doing with that." She squints her eyes with a sideways nod, gaining a small laugh in return. "But I do know that he is graduating this year."

"From Harvard, right?" She nods and takes a bite of her spaghetti noddles.

"Yeah, which," she shakes her head, "I am so proud of him for. I don't know much about that school, but I do know, with my time here in America, it's a great college."

"It really is, though." She nods softly in agreement. "I still can't believe Xavier made it in."

"I know, right?" She breathes with furrowed brows. "I didn't know he was that smart." She smirks and she chuckles.

"Me neither."

Satine makes it home later in the afternoon and heads directly for the common room, searching for her welcome home gift. She spots him through the window of the door and pushes it open to only stick half of her body in.

"Peter, come." She summons with a raised brow.

"Oh, you're in trouble." Sam teases and she grins with a wink, making him smile as she leaves the room.

"No, she's just tired of me and school." Peter walks backwards towards the door.

"So, you're in trouble." Bucky nods surely and a few nod in agreement.

He rolls his eyes with a smile as he turns around and follows behind Satine. He picks her up onto his hips as she throws her arms around his neck with a bright smile and her eyes squeezed shut.

"Yeah, he looks like he's in trouble." Pietro smirks as Peter starts heading down the hall.

"Definitely." Nat grins as Sam and Bucky look at each other with small smiles.
