Dragged into a dark room, stripped of her suit and pony tail, which leaves her in only a tank top and pair of thin shorts, Satine wakes on the hard concrete ground, unsure if she has even truly opened her eyes in this pitch black that surrounds her. She pushes herself up onto her hands and she's quick to her feet just as a red light switches on from above.

As her eyes begin to adjust to the small space around her, she finds herself standing beside a sink and toilet. Those sit on one wall and right across from that is a blank screen with a camera above it in the corner. A red dot of a light sits on the camera, showing that whoever is on the other end is watching her examine that room around her.

Just then, her eyes land on a very large, heavy duty door. With that, she charges at it and bangs her fists against it's hard exterior, but it only creates a simple dent, as if she was fighting with vibrainium.

"That won't work." A women speaks through the screen as it turns on to showcase a red hourglass, sending Satine's heart straight to her stomach.

"I put a dent in it." She turns back to the door with a shaky inhale that she hides well. "I can tear it down."

"No, you can't." She sings with a grin in her voice. "Power dampeners. You can't do much."

"Are those the red lights?" She looks up at them and the woman chuckles.

"They give off the same shock you received before if you try to destroy them." She grins and she exhales deeply through her nose as she lowers her head.

"Haven, what are you doing?" She asks and she pauses momentarily with the other women in the room with her.

"You remember me?"

"How could I forget?" She grins a bit. "You were my friend, weren't you?"

"I suppose." She adjusts uncomfortably.

"You suppose." She chuckles while laying her head back and placing her hands on her hips. "We were partners, Haven. You were my favorite."

"And, you were everyone elses." She nods and she sighs. "Dreykov's most prized possession."

"It's been nearly seventeen years and I am and never was anyone's prized possession."

"You were mine." She smiles softly and she closes her eyes while hanging her head. "Doesn't that count for something?"

"Why am I here, Haven?" She nearly whispers and her smiles fades painfully.

"We need a leader." She grips the mic she speaks into and Satine's brows furrow. "We're confused and we don't know what to do. You're strong enough to captain an army. Or, at least, you will be, when we give you back your strength. You're the perfect candidate."

"I won't lead you, Haven." She shakes her head. "None of you girls. I won't. I'm done with the Red Room and everything about it."

"You'll never be done with the Red Room, Love." She shakes her head. "We came for you once already."

"What?" She looks up at the camera.

"About ten years ago, you were on patrol when you met a woman that could fight just as well as you and I."

"I knew it." She breathes with widened eyes. "She was too skilled for her own good."

"She's a good fighter, always has been." She grins. "So we sent her after you, but of course..."

"She lost." She nods sideways.

"It took us ten years to finally create the perfect trap for you, one that will keep you in and we're not letting you go." She states firmly and she sighs, fearful for the state of her family.

"Well...you got me." She sucks in her cheeks with her head hung. "What now?"

"Now..." She smirks. "You weaken." She states and her brows furrow. "Everyday that you'll spend in here, you're going to get weaker and weaker until you have no fight left inside of you."

"How?"

"You'll see." She states softly. "We can't fight you now, you're too strong, but if we take that away, what do you have left..? You'll have us and only us because we are the only ones that can bring you back. You'll join us in the end, Satine."

"Never again." She shakes her head behind her gritted teeth.

"Yes, you will. You have no choice."
