Other than her bedroom, the quinjet has to be Satine's favorite place. Knowing the thrill of what she's about to do is some of the most fun that she has. Plus, today is Ruby Maries first real mission, not just a fake one done in the training room.

Around two miles away from a large Hydra base, the quinjet lands in an opening between trees. Steve does his quick recap of the breifing, just a simple summary of what they're up against before he sends them on their way.

Bite and Spider head directly to the roof, where two men stand stationary on the edges, pacing back and forth with their guns to their chests. The bugs land silently behind the armed men and release each other's hands. They stalk slowly towards their prey and spin around in the air to throw their ankles against their temples. While Spider's man hits the floor, Bite's man goes falling off the building, causing them both to freeze momentarily.

"Well, that wasn't supposed to happen." She looks over the edge, using a whisper tone and he shakes his head.

"Why is that the only reaction I can expect from you?" He smiles a bit as they head inside the building and down the stairs and she chuckles.

"See you later, Miláčik." She grazes her hand across his shoulders as he heads to the door and she continues down.

He kisses the back of her hand before he turns to enter the top floor. Once Bite makes it three floors below him, the door swings open and she turns just as a man slams his forearm into her throat to shove her back into the stairs railing. She snaps part of the bar off and smacks it to the side of his head. He falls straight to the floor, obviously not planning on getting up any time soon.

Bite looks down the middle of the stairwell to find that she has about five more levels before she reaches the basement. She sighs and trudges down one before she just decides to jump. She grabs onto the railing of the floor just above the bottom to soften her landing when she drops to her feet.

"Oh, my God." Ruby Marie covers her mouth out of fright and Bite turns and smiles. "Where did you come from?"

"Falling four floors, then one." She points and she shakes her head.

"Mad woman."

"Falling?" Spider asks and the two smile as Ruby Marie opens the door.

"Safely." She nods in a whisper tone as Ruby Marie goes incognito mood. "I stuck the landing."

"Good." He nods with a disapproving sigh, making her grin slightly before she's on high alert again.

About two years ago, LoveBite had gone down to the basement of a Hydra base alone. She was doing great, until someone came up behind her and knocked her on the back of the head with a metal bat. Now in all honesty, this had been a little disorienting and it messed with her vision for a moment.

Though, she did not fall. She knew that one swing wouldn't be the end of it, so she threw her hand back to force it from his hand, just to knock him unconscious in return.

Ever since then, she has been very cautious with every turn she makes around a corner. Now is no different. Sort of. This time she has an actual goal, which is to steal a dangerous weapon that Tony plans to destroy and create something new out of, something that's not as deadly, but will cause pain.

This weapon is made of stolen vibranium, melted steel, and graphene. That's all just holding it together. It's designed to send out nuclear waves, like the blast of a atomic bomb. There is no amo, only energy. Dealy energy. So far, it's a one of a kind and the Avengers plan to keep it that way, after it had destroyed two buildings with one blast.

Retrieving it is at the top of their priorities list. Simple task for non-simple people.

As expected, there are men guarding the room it's in. Two in front of the door and possibly five on the inside.

Ruby Marie leans against the wall beside Bite just as she spots Captain and the Scarlet Witch lurking around a separate corner further down the hall. They're not the only surprises the guards should be watching out for, on the other hand.

Only inches in front of them, from the vents, Black Widow lands on her feet in front of them to strike them right in the chests with two bullets.

"Oh." Bite nods. "That --"

"SpiderMan's in there." She turns to her and her brows raise as she hurries over.

She peaks through the window to see six guards standing alert, facing away from the weapons safe. Above and behind them, Spider lowers down by a web and silently grabs the case to pull himself back into another vent. The guards remain oblivious to the theiving and the Avengers decide to leave them be, seeing as it would just be a waste of time to get at them if they're just going to blow the building up anyway.

As they all start heading for the stairwell, Bite slows to a stop when she looks down a dark hallway. She hesitates to continue on, as if something's pulling her in that direction, telling her that she needs to know more about this place.

"Bite?" Wanda calls and she turns. "Let's go."

"I..." He pauses. "Uh...hold on." She puts her hand up and starts walking that way. "Give me a minute, I need to check something out."

"What're you doing?" Tony asks.

"I'm curious, I just want to look at something." She hurries towards the darkness as the rest continue for the exit. "I'll be out in a minute."

"Satine, be careful, please." Spider asks as he lands in the quinjet to hand the case to Clint.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be out in a minute." She states softly.

She goes silent as she stalks through the very dimly lit hall. Only a few of the lights above are actually working, creating very ominous areas between. Five doors on each side of the hall have large locks on them that she can't even be bothered to touch, because her gut is telling her that she needs to continue on.

Every door has writing on it and only one of the ten seems to be written in a language that she doesn't understand, which is truly a rarity. It looks ancient and it interests her, but she keeps moving.

All the way at the end, on the left hand side, there is one door that she can't take her eyes off. She grabs the handle as the reads the label on the wall beside it.

Neonate

She tilts her head with furrowed brows and slowly twists the knob.

Back on the Quinjet, Peter waits impatiently for Satine to come back. She's been silent for a while and it has him worried, but Nat has been assuring him that she is plenty strong and can handle herself. And, even if she wasn't and couldn't, she would call for him immediately.

From where they float above the tree line, Peter calls out to her one more time and she quietly shushs him, making him smile a bit with a sigh of relief.

She makes it back less than a minute later and lands by the door, pulling all attention towards her.

"I, uh..." Her mask folds away as their faces drop at the sight of the bundle in her arms. "I found a baby."
