"No! No, I can't leave without him."

"We need to go home and you need to take care of Anya." Natasha states firmly. "Some of us will come back later, but you need to go home."

In the kitchen of the common room, Satine leans on the counter, whispering Peter's name on repeat. Since yesterday, the communication device she wears in her ear has remained in the same place. Even through the night hours, when she was supposed to be asleep beside Anya, she sat wide awake in her old closet, calling out to him, listening for him, all for it to be a waste of time. She hasn't heard his voice in almost eighteen hours and it isn't good for her. And, if it were possible, she could be sick over the outcomes she's imagined.

So as she leans her forehead on the counter, mumbling under her breath, a small voice calls her 'mommy' and she lifts herself up and pushes her hair behind her ear.

"What, Babe?" She clears her throat while licking her lips and Anya hesitates, staring up at the cloud of fear with her own fright hanging in the air.

"I'm hungry." She takes a step back as she holds onto the edge of the counter and Satine nods.

"Right." She looks around the kitchen. "You haven't eaten in a few hours."

She lifts her hair off of her neck, pushing her fingers into the hairs on the back of her head for a moment before she lets go and rubs her eyes. She drops her arms at her sides and opens the fridge as Anya takes a few steps back while picking at her lip.

Satine grabs the jelly out of the fridge and sets it on the counter before she grabs a paper towel. She takes a deep breath and looks around her while gripping her sides. She thinks for a moment before she remembers what she's trying to locate and turns, only to be met Wanda and Natasha standing directly in front of her. She quickly backs up with the heels of her palms to her temples and a heavy exhale.

"Go sit down, we can handle this." Nat instructs softly.

"No, I --"

"Satine, go." Wanda puts her hand up and she sighs frustratingly. "You're done, you're scaring your daughter." She motions as her eyes water and she avoids looking at Anya, who stares up at her through her doe eyes. "You need to calm down."

"Calm down." She nods. "Don't tell me to calm down right now. I am being as calm as I can be for her. No one can control what she feels and no matter how hard you try to mask your feelings, she knows."

"Satine, you need a break." Natasha shakes her head and her eyes flicker to hers. "You need to leave the room, I don't care where you go, but you need to leave  this room."

"We know you're going through it right now and we can't imagine what that's like for you, but either you calm down in here and control yourself or you step out for a little bit and let us handle this." Wanda backs out of her way while shaking her head. "In or out."

With that, she leaves them to watch her go as Anya hides behind her fingertips with tears in her eyes. She starts to hurry after her, but Wanda lowers down in front of her and wipes the pouring tears from her cheeks as she bursts into silent sobs.

Satine hurries through the halls, shaking as she goes. She looks around her while gripping her hands before they're on her forehead, and then temple, then gripping the life out of her hair, trying to hold back her panic, though she's never been very good at that. It could be a simple thing that is keeping Peter from coming home, but if it was simple, he would have called. He would have said where he was going and he'd be home by now. But that's not the case here and they're worried the "simple" thing could be harming him so that he can't come home.

On the top floor of an abandoned hospital sits an empty room, silently occupied by two women in white leather suits, one in black, and SpiderMan, who has been chained down to the only chair in the room. On the straps around his wrist, he has found a device that looks, to him, like a tablet, though he's unsure of what it could be for.

"Why don't you take off the mask and we can have a conversation." The accented woman in black demands while he stares at her through the eyes, but he ignores her, like he has for the past eighteen hours. "This would be a lot easier if you cooperated." She nods and he takes a deep breath while laying his head back and clearing his throat.

"No, I'm alright." He adjusts to make himself comfy and she sighs.

"I knew you would act like this." She turns away while pulling a remote out of her pocket and his brows furrow.

She presses the button and an electric shock stabs him in the ankle and his heart drops as his breath hitches, but he keeps the calm facade. Though, the grimace of pain under his mask and the tightness in his chest would tell otherwise.

"Take off the mask." She demands and he lifts his head, breathing somewhat heavily, even when he tries to hide it.

"No."

"SpiderMan, the button is very tempting." She grins and shakes the remote and he sits up.

"Do it." He shakes his head with a smile in his voice. "Press it. I won't put my families lives at risk for a mask."

"What if I said they already are?" She leans down in front of him and his jaw locks. "I already know your name...Peter." She smirks and his furrowed brows slowly relax in horid realization. "I just wanted to see if you'd be dumb enough to tell me yourself. Looks like you're smarter than I thought." She stands back up as he sighs shakily and tugs on his restraints.

"Satine is a lucky girl." The woman on his left crosses her arms.

"If you touch my wife or daughter, I'm gonna kill you." He shakes his head with only hatred in his voice.

"Oh, I thought SpiderMan was supposed to be the friendly one." The woman on the right sings. "Friendly neighborhood SpiderMan and all."

"No, he's an Avenger." The original woman looks him up and down as he grips the arms of the chair. "That was clear from the start."
