Ruby Marie ventures closer to the common room with every slow and patient step. She carries a book in her hand, her eyes grazing over every word, so carefully putting herself in the story.

"Ruby, hi." Pietro slides up beside her and she quickly turns with wide eyes, only to slowly grin.

"Hi." She grazes her hand across the cover of her book to gradually close it.

"What're you reading?" He pushes his hands in his pockets.

"Oh," she turns to it with raised brows before bringing her attention back to him, "'Death', it's about the four horsemen." She states nervously and he nods with a tilted head. "I'm really into fantasy." She nods, while swallowing her shame.

"No need to explain." He smiles a bit. "Definitely no need to be embarrassed about what you like. I'm not." He shrugs, while gazing at her face.

"You read?" She looks up at him and his brows raise with a deep breath.

"No." He shakes his head, while itching under his eye. "I never learned to read English."

"Oh, well...I can teach you." She shrugs. "I mean, if you want. No pressure or anything."

"I'm not a very good student." He chuckles.

"I'm sure I could handle you." She nods with a smirk. "I used to teach first graders."

"I'm at kindergarten level." He lowers his hand, making her laugh a bit with a bright smile.

"I'll do my best."

The two make it to the common room and he opens the door for her to walk ahead, while grinning up at him as he talks.

"Hey, Wanda?" Satine calls, leaning her front against the counter.

"Yeah?" She turns around.

"Tell me, I'm not the only one that notices something going on between your brother and Invisa-girl." She turns too while shaking her head and her eyes go wide.

"I thought I was." She whispers while stepping closer and she smiles.

"It's so obvious." She nods.

"It's adorable."

"I know, and she's so pretty, I love it." Satine chuckles and she nods excitedly.

"I think he's actually going to go for it." She inches closer as they look back to watch them chat on the couch. "Really be with her, unlike every other girl he's met."

"Every other girl." She shakes her head.

"Yeah." She chuckles, making her smile. "You should've seen him when she first got here."

"Oh, love at first sight?" She gasps.

"The look in his eyes." She nods and she covers her mouth with her fingertips. "He looked completely infatuated by her." She states and she pouts a smile.

"It's so nice to hear stuff like this about him." She puts her hand to her heart and she nods with wrinkled brows. "I mean, it'd be obvious if only she caught feelings, but it's so different for him." She shakes her head and she chuckles. "I love them."

"I have to say," Peter suddenly cuts in from beside them, making them jump, "being able to hear all the gossip is pretty cool." He nods sideways and they slowly smile with small laughs.

"Do you see it?" Satine nods.

"All the time."

After dinner has been eaten and everyone has settled back into the couch or ventured off to their bedrooms, Satine is alone in hers. She lays on her couch with her head on a pillow, eyes focused in the TV. Her legs are bent up too, leaning against the back of the couch.

Peter comes in soon enough after he fixed a part of his suit in his lab. He locks the door behind him and takes a seat at the other end of the couch, bringing her attention to him.

"Miláčik?"

"Hmm?" He turns to her.

"When did graduating not mean you spend more time with me?" She complains and he slowly smiles.

"I am with you everyday." He nods.

"Not enough." She whispers with wide eyes.

"Do you want me on top of you all day?" He throws his hand.

"Inside works too." She shakes her head and he laughs a bit while rubbing his mouth, making her slowly smile.

He shakes his head and gets up to his knees in front of her. He spreads her legs and crawls above her to lay on top of her. His head rests comfortably on her chest as he pushes his arms beneath her, arching her back into his front. She watches him with a smile and quickly wraps her arms around him to hug him close.

"So needy." He nuzzles in, while closing his eyes as she bends her legs over his, locking him in place. "But you smell so good." He sighs and she giggles, while running her fingers through his hair. "I still can't believe you married me."

"Your 'tired-talk' is kinda cute." She grins softly.

"That's why only you get to hear it." He states as her thumb brushes back and forth over his cheek.

"Forever, right?" She hopes with a smile.

"Of course."
