Through the night of trying her hardest to stay awake and fight the exhaustion, Satine eventually loses her battle and falls into a faded sleep. Back and forth, she would awaken for a moment, only to be asleep moments later. She tried to push it, but stress pushed back and she fell fairly easy.
That is, until she wakes again and her tired and heavy eyes search the room around her. A voice calls her name and she looks over at Anya before sitting up on her elbows.
"Satine."
She puts her hand to her ear as she sits up and lays her legs over the edge of the bed.
"Satine, please wake up."
"Peter?" She breathes while gripping the blanket, eyes already full of tears.
"Satine?!" He jumps and she laughs her cries before she covers her mouth to silence herself from Anya as she leaves the room. "Oh, Jesus Christ." He sighs while laying his head back.
"Oh, my God. Are you okay?" She hurries to the stairs.
"Baby, I'm okay." He speaks softly and she comes to a slow stop on the staircase and covers her face. "I don't know how much longer I have to talk." He states as she sits down and struggles to calm down behind her hand. "Satine." He calls with a tone full of sorrow and she takes a deep, gasping breath.
"I thought you were dead." She states between scared sobs and he hangs his head and squeezes his eyes shut.
"Uh, God, I'm so sorry." He sighs.
"Where are you?!" She chokes while gripping her shirt and the staircase railing beside her.
"I don't know, but there's a window behind me and I recognize a building outside --"
"Are you right by us?" She asks, desperately hoping that's true.
Though, there is a part of her that is praying that he isn't because if he is, then they truly failed him.
"Do you remember that day, a few years ago, when we spent the whole day together, just us? You called it out day of freedom." He grins a bit and she takes a deep, shaky breath.
"Mhmm."
"It was in August and you were so excited to go to the shop with the bunches of way too many doughnuts." He jokes and she grins slightly with a quivering chin while laying her head on her fist that squeezes the railing. "Oh, you were wearing that dress...you haven't worn it in forever." He sighs and she closes her eyes.
"I remember."
"There's an abandoned building in the woods right behind it. I'm on the fourth floor. You need to come find me." He states and she exhales deeply while trying to push herself to stand. "Satine, I need you to keep moving." His beows wrinkle. "You need to help yourself right now, you need to stand. I need you to stand for me. Please?"
"Okay."

After notifying Tony, Natasha, and Vision, they were quick to get everyone awake and on board with their plan to just go in there and wing it. Simple as that, no plan needed, just a snatch and grab of a husband and father. Simple.

As soon as the quinjet lands on the building Peter mentioned, loud enough to draw attention to it, Satine doesn't waste a moment to step out of the fallen hatch.
"Wait, Satine, hold on." Natasha calls and she swings around.
"What?!" She nearly shouts and she points with raised brows.
