From where she sits at the head table beside her bridesmaids and Peter, Satine leans forward to grab the microphone being handed to her by Pietro. She thanks him before he runs off and Satine stands as everyone goes silent in the crowds.

"I can't believe I'm making a speech, I hate doing that." She shakes her head, gaining smiles in return. "But I feel like I need to, and I know that I want to. And, I'm going to start by saying that, I admit, Peter and I did not have the best first interaction." She nods a bit and he chuckles, while nodding in agreement. "I was a bit of an angry asshole of a teenage girl." She circles her hand with an eye-roll, making them laugh a bit. "But," she puts her finger up with raised brows, "literally the next day, we met again. I was lost in the lunch room of my new school and he offered me a seat at his table, even after the way I acted. Even when I was a dick, Peter was there for me." She chuckles, while pointing at him as he grin in his fist. "And, he has been every single day since then and I cannot imagine my life without him." She gently grabs his shoulder. "I don't even want to know where I'd be, if he never helped me that day. Aside from that, he saved my life in more ways than even he knows and he brought me a wonderful family that I would never trade for anything. So to the little teenage boy that just tried to help...thank God you were a pushover, because I was an asshole." She looks down at him with a chuckle and he sits back, while laughing with the rest of the audience. "Tell me I'm wrong." She nods, while lowering the mic to him.

"I was a pushover." He chuckles in agreement.

"Yes, 'was.'" She nods surely. "He's not anymore, Sam." She doesn't even look at him, while clearing her throat and he throws his arms up in offense and confusion.

"He still is!" He shouts and she shakes her head with a grin and her head hung.

"Alright, moving on, enjoy your nights!"

She quickly turns off and sets the mic down and sits and they crowd claps and cheers and slowly continues on as she turns in her chair to face Peter.

"Did you like it?" She pulls her bottom lip between her teeth.

"I loved it." He places his hand on her cheek, leaned back into his chair and she slowly grins brightly. "And, I love you. And, I..." He slowly looks her over. "I can't believe how absolutly beautiful you are, right now." He shakes his head and she giggles, while holding his wrist. "And, everyday." He cups her cheeks, while sitting up. "I still do not understand why you chose me."

"Because you're SpiderMan." She teases and he chuckles before leaning into her soft lips.

She places her hand on his chest as he slowly backs up, gives her one more, and then sits back again. She pats his shoulder as she stands to make her way around this table and head for a certain one, where she comes up behind Tony sitting in his seat and lowers down beside his head.

"Would you like to dance with me?" She asks and he turns before slowly smiling a bit.

"What, some type of father-daughter dance or something?" He mumbles and she smiles.

"Exactly." She grabs his hand to gently and slowly pull him out of his seat.

Satine and Peter had agreed a long time ago that they would not be doing the whole first dance thing. They hated the idea of being up in front of everybody for an awkward good few minutes with all eyes on them. But she knew that she was not going to let Tony get out of this one, not at all. And, thankfully for her, others had already moved towards the dance floor, causing others to get the memo that they should too.

Now she knows that people, if they're watching, will only have their eyes on the father of the bride and the lady at hand, but at least they're not alone as he pulls her closer with his hold on her back, hand-in-hand.

"I cannot believe how fast this day came." He shakes his head and she slowly grins. "Five years." He nods.

"It took forever." She chuckles.

"I honestly thought I'd have to tell him no to proposing to you at eighteen." He shrugs and she smiles. "I mean, I don't know if you've noticed, but somebody's a little star struck." He nods to Peter and she turns to see him smiling at her, making her grin a blush as she turns away. "Somebody else is too." He raises a brow and she shrugs a bit with one shoulder.

"Maybe."

"Hmph, maybe." He doubts and she chuckles. "I've never seen more love come from one relationship." He states with a softer voice, while she grins up at him. "I swear, it radiates off of you two everyday. And, boy, am I thankful for it." He nods.

"What do you mean?"

"That boy up there," he points with raised brows, "that man, sorry, I keep forgetting he's grown now," he shakes his head and she chuckles with a bright smile, "that man is the one that brought you to me and gave me the best daughter I could've ever asked for and I will always love you both with my whole heart." He states softly as a tear slips from her eye and he wipes it away from her cheek. "But know that I pick favorites and if he hurts you, I'm sending the Iron Legion after him." He states surely and she covers her mouth to hide her laugh, making him smile. "I'm serious." He chuckles. "If he causes you any troubles, you come to me."

"Okay." She nods in humored agreement. "I will."
