Back at the compound, the team stands unsure of their next move as they surround the sleeping infant laid on a large pillow.

"Hold on, was she the only one?" Nat turns to Satine.

"Yeah." She nods with her hands folded on the back of her neck. "I checked for more, she was the only one." She takes a deep breath and Peter's brows furrow as he places his hand on the small of her back.

"Baby, you alright?" He inches closer and turns her towards him as she nods quickly.

"I'm fine, it's just..." She thinks for a moment with wrinkled brows. "We almost blew up the building with her inside of it." She motions. "We could've killed her, if I wasn't just being a little curious."

He sighs and pulls her into a hug around her neck to hold tight to each other as she tries to keep her tears at bay, breathing slowly to calm down.

"What do we do with her?" Nat crosses her arms with a softer voice.

"I don't like the idea of a baby in an orphanage." Ruby Marie states.

Satine shakes her head in agreement, pulling Peter's attention back to her as he pets her hair down.

A whimpering from the tiny being follows suit and Satine slowly lifts her head as Nat gently lifts her into her arms. She coos her for a moment before her eyes glance to the side and then shoot back to see the soft and desperate look on her face as she squeezes her hands in front of her.

"Satine?" She nods and she looks up. "Did you want --" She starts while stepping closer.

She doesn't get a chance to finish her sentence as she begins nodding frantically, silently pleading to hold her again. She's quick, but gentle as she hands her over and Satine cradles her close to her chest. She steals her away and sits on the couch.

Nat looks up at the rest as they all turn to her and she nods them towards the kitchen. Peter stays behind and sits next to his fearful wife to lean forward, elbows on his knees, and stare back at her.

"I don't think getting rid of her is an option anymore." Nat cautions.

"Is the compound even fit for a child?" Steve shakes his head with furrowed brows.

"If not, I'd make it happen." Tony crosses his arms. "I think she's staying." He nods towards the three.

Satine looks up at Peter with a lovely light in her sage green eyes as he places his hand on the back of her head. She turns back to the baby in her arms and grazes her knuckle down her soft and chubby cheek.

"Okay." Steve nods slowly. "If we're going to keep her, somebody has to be the primary caretaker."

"Well, I mean, they're married." Sam motions. "And she doesn't seem to be letting go of her any time soon."

"It'd break her heart to watch her go." Bucky nods with a scrunched up nose and raised brows as they slowly smile.

"What if we just...give her to them." Sam shrugs with a high-pitch in her voice.

"Satine really would love that." Nat raises a brow.

"Peter's going to stick by her side, no matter what." Wanda grins and Tony shakes his head with a slight chuckle.

"Mr. Dad?" Thor turns to him with his hand up and he takes a deep breath. "What do you think about becoming a Grandpa?"

"Uh..." He sighs before grinning. "I think that Satine will be a great mom."
