Fair warning, through the book, being that it already has so many chapters and we haven't even gotten near the main climax, there will be multiple times skips upcoming.

The main focus of the upcoming time skips is to highlight the milestones in Satine and Peter's relationship and the growth of Anastasia.

There will still be the little meaningless chapters that just show a husband and wife trying to raise a child that they were completely unprepared for. But the important moments will be the most written chapters.

There will be time stamps at the top of the chapter dictating Anastasia's age and/or the year.

Examples of the important moments would be when Anastasia starts speaking and walking, a few birthdays, and even her first day of school. There will be parties or little get togethers that will still be mentioned within the regular chapters.

But to sum it all up, I can't write what I'm planning without skipping a few years to keep it within the limited amount of chapters, so this is the best solution in my mind.
