After ten years of a long, healthy, and happy marriage, one can't help but reminice about the past fifteen years and the way it has all played out. Even in her dreams, she still remembers the way he would shy away from her that first year together, but all the while he would hold her and touch her in ways she had never imagined. She thinks back on how he always knew how to help her through her toubles and just the right tone to use, no matter what situation they're in. Even their little arguments would end with smiles as one would notice their mistake or be able to prove their point in a way that wouldn't hurt the other. But the moments that she thinks about the most are the times they are able to be vulnerable with each other...so open as they lie together and allow for their love to explore as much of the other person as their heart, mind, and body desires. That's all she ever wanted and it's all she gets, in and out of their clothes.
Laid in the middle of the bed, Satine slowly smiles as Peter crawls towards her and lays between her legs, arms crossed on her belly. She weaves her sharp nails through his hair and he lays his head down with a grin, staring out onto the ocean, where the moon shines brightly on its surface.
"Two weeks left." He states peacefully and she looks up at the ceiling with a grin. "Ready to go home, yet?" He jokes and she laughs, jolting his head on her belly.
"Never." She shakes her head. "I don't ever wanna leave and we just got here. Out here, it's just us...no one to interrupt."
"No work." He looks up at her and she nods with a small grin before that fades. "What's wrong?"
"In all my years alive before I met you, you never crossed my mind." She shakes her head. "I went sixteen years without a single thought towards the love of my life and I just wonder how different it would be."
"I don't see it like that." He states and she tilts her head to see him better. "I'm not happy about the way you grew up, I'm not happy that you had to go through everything you did, but I am happy with who came out of it. Anyone could have lost their minds in a place like that and never have became a good person or better person. And you came out of it a hero." He sits up between her legs. "You did good, My Love." He cups her cheeks and she holds his wrists. "And I am so proud of you. I wouldn't change a thing."

Suddenly awoken by Peters gentle coos as he brushes his thumb over her cheek, Satine turns to her back as her eyes begin to adjust to her surroundings. He moves out of the way of the primary nursing assistant for Satine's case and she attempts to sit up before Nurse Hannah motions for her to stay put. She doesn't need to waste her energy for this.
Just as everyday so far, Hannah has come in to do her physical. Dr. Boone had done it one day, in order to get a better understanding of her health, but Hannah took over after that. She has her open her mouth to place a thermometer beneath her tongue before she pulls it back out.
"104.2." She speaks softly near a whisper and Peter sighs while crossing his arms.
She checks her blood pressure and breathing and makes her way out of the room and Satine turns to Peter and the desperate look on his face.
"Please don't look at me like that." She sighs and he takes a deep breath before rubbing his face.
"Sorry." He turns away, while itching the side of his neck. "I'm sorry."
"Peter, why don't you go take a walk?" Nat suggests softly and he shakes his head.
"I'm fine here."
"It might be good for you." Steve adds.
"Yeah, and that's nice, but I'm not leaving." He nods with raised brows.
