status update!!!

hellooo... its been a long time, hasn't it?

here to explain the future of this fic, but first,

I didn't imagine people would like this book!!! but theres a handful of you here that actually enjoyed it!!! it was and still is very heartwarming, especially when after I stopped posting, I saw new people voting for the chapters as they read them and it's a very nice feeling!!! how silly that strangers clicking buttons on their screen can give such satisfaction. so thank you, very dearly!

I even ended up making a lovely friend (hello, rozu!!) and we even met at a con! she is utterly sweet and I am upset that I didn't have the energy from my burnout to write a chapter for her birthday! love you dearly rozu ♡♡♡

though, about this book

I do not necessarily want to stop writing it- it makes me happy to, but I wouldn't say writing is a great investment of mine. I only really write when I get a vague layout of everything and start thinking too much about it in my head- so I need to get it down somewhere!!!

usually it's in my notes- but i decided to post this one for funsies, since genshin was my greatest hyperfixation at the time. and I got a lot of love!

so basically, I only write when I'm thinking a lot about something, which only happens when I'm like, REALLY into it.

and, the truth is... well....

I got super into five nights at freddys again guys. but like tenfold this time- you would not believe. the whole time I was gone? writing fnaf fanfictions. drawing fnaf. I've given every autistic person I know (oddly a lot.) multiple fnaf based vocal stims. ive ruined my life and everyone else's with this obsession /j. (it probably wasn't too necessary to use a tone tag here, haha)

I proooobably won't be updating this for a long while- the stuff I used to play genshin is just inadequate to play comfortably for me, so it's hard to get back into it right now. but there is hope guys I do miss genshin I do miss my meow meows and maybe if I trick my friends into endulging in it then I can enjoy it again!!! but if anyone cares, I have a few options!

option one is just wait till I write again, it will be a BIG gap, but I do still have a plotline for this fic!!! (despite the MANY inconsistencies in my writing. hope no one else notices...)

option two is I post sorta a timeline of what my plans were for this fic, including little moments and my big brain lore connections!!! and I could either end the fic there or update infrequently after it

option three seems less achievable, but I know some people give fics to other writers, so maybe that's an option. I don't know how those whole things work, but who knows

option four is open to suggestions!? idk. I feel a little silly posting (arg! maybe people don't care!) but it's okay because besides one of you, no one REALLY knows who I am, so I can be embarrassing and the shame isn't attached to me (convincing me more than you)

anyway!!!
