Ch. 20 : Golden Triangle

"Phi, is Gulf sleeping?"

"Yes..."

"Did you fight?"

"No. He wanted to tell me something, but I think he wasn't ready yet..."

"It seems serious..."

"About his parents..."

"Didn't you say his parents died in a flight accident?"

"Yes. From the information we found. But, it seems that someone is trying to hide the truth...", Max frowns.

"Before sobbing, he told me that the death of his parents wasn't because of that. It traumatizes him really bad, I guess. Even he was just delirious. He said don't hurt Mama..."

"Poor him! I think his past was really difficult..."

Nunew just comes out from his bedroom when he sees his brothers seriously talking in the dining table. He can't just pass. After taking a drink, he joins his brothers.

"What are you talking about, Phi? Seems serious..."

"About Gulf..."

"Nu, did he ever tell you anything about his past?"

"You mean his childhood? Mmm... Apart from the story he helped patients, he never told me anything. As far as I can remember...", Max chuckles.

"His past is really mysterious. Seems like he has a special background..."

"Ohh! I remembered! A week ago, when I helped him unpack his stuffs from condo, I found his childhood's photo. He was floating a lantern. He said, it is his family tradition to send prayers to his ancestors. But, after his parents died, he never did that anymore. From what I see, he seems to be quite devastated because of that..."

"Sweet Bun did say that he had to consult with psychologist because of the death of his parents..."

"What secret is he trying to cover up actually?"

"I took a picture of it. Do you want to see?", the two brothers nod.

"Wait naa~ Mmm.... Nah! Found it! Here is the photo!"

At first, Mew and Max just look at the little boy. He seemed happy. But, just then, the two brothers suddenly frown. They zoom in the photo. Their eyes widen. They gulp.

"What's wrong, Phi?", Mew immediately smiles.

"Nothing..."

Mew is obviously lying. Nunew knows, but doesn't say anything. The big brother has to do this until he can confirm everything. He doesn't want Nunew to be stressed.

Wee-oww! Wee-oww! Wee-oww!

Three of them gasp. This time, it must be enemy. Everyone immediately gathers in the living room. James has sent emergency signal. However, the biggest problem is the first attack. They have around five minutes until the enemy reaches the house.

"Spread around the house! Don't let them get in!"

"Yes, Sir!", all bodyguards answer in unison.

"Sweet Bun, Nu, Nat, Yim, you all wait in the bunker. Don't come out until this attack is over!", Gulf hugs his boyfie.

"Take care, Phi! Don't get hurt!"

"I will, Sweet Bun! Wait for me to come pick you up, okay?", the older kisses his temple.

All of them go to the bunker. Nunew leads the way. After walking down the stairs, they finally arrive at the bunker door. Nunew opens the door using his fingers print. As soon as the door opens, the light inside turns on. The other three people are amazed by how good this bunker is. It's literally different from what they imagined. This place is even equipped with a control room. All CCTV and security features can be arranged here. The four of them immediately monitors the conditions outside.
