Ch. 12 : Love Mission

Few days passed. Gulf is back to work and in a very good mood. His relationship with Mew has developed a lot. He had also explained to Fort. The nephew is happy to see his uncle's happiness. And, even though Mew and Fort had an argument before, they are no longer fighting. The two of them have reconciled now. Plus, Fort is very supportive of their relationship which makes Gulf happy too.

Knock! Knock!

"Come in!"

"dr. Gulfian, your guest is here..."

The doctor immediately knows who. He nods and lets the guest in. His future boyfriend comes in with a teddy bear holding a sweet bun. Gulf giggles. Mew is really random when it comes to pick a gift.

"Hello! A cute doll for this cute man in front of me!", he hands over the doll to Gulf.

"Thank you!"

Gulf looks at the doll in his hand. He squeezed it a bit. It's soft, fragrant, cute, and making him flutter. He can't help himself from smiling. He really loves it.

"Are you still busy?"

"No. I'm done with my work. Let's go!"

The two leave the hospital. They have agreed to go on a date today. They talked about this before. Both want to experience what a normal couple does even though they are super busy. So, here they are. Choose watching a water show as their first date.

Gulf is amazed by the show. He didn't know there is a show like this around him. But, that's quite understandable. Since living in Thailand, Gulf hardly ever goes out. He did not feel comfortable with other people too. However, Mew's presence makes it really different.

"Do you like it, Sweet Bun?", Mew asks when the show ended.

"Yes. It's really beautiful..."

"Where else should we go?"

"I'm... not sure?"

"Is there a place you'd like to visit?"

"I don't know many places. Since I lived here, I rarely go out..."

"Really? Don't you hang out with your friends or co-workers?"

"Do you think anyone can be friends with me? With my character like this?"

"What's wrong with your character, hm? I think you're just being careful..."

"How can you be so sure?"

"My little brother used to be like you too..."

"Huh? Really?"

"It's true, Sweet Bun. But, it's going to be a long story. Shall we talk over snacks? I know a good cafe around here..."

"Sure!"

They walk to the cafe which is located close to their position. It doesn't take more than 5 minutes. However, how awkward they are when the place is filled with couples being lovey-dovey. Finally, they decide to sit a little away from the crowds. Surrounded by the bodyguards, of course.

"So... this is the place you mean? This place must be very memorable for you...", Gulf says with a meaningful look.

"W-Wait! Don't get me wrong! I was here with Nunew. He always asks me to accompany him to cute places like this..."

"I didn't say anything though~", Mew laughs.

"Did you just tease me?"

"Really? Your sense of humor is a bit off, Khun Mew..."

"Sweet Bun, you should stop calling me Khun. Just call me P'Mew... or honey if you want~", Gulf gets goosebumps.

"Enough! Enough! Okay! I'll call you Phi!"
