"Phi, I'm sorry... I can't..."

Mew freezes. His face turns pale. He is rejected by the same person many times in his life. He's actually used to it. But, this time, it feels really different. Seeing the apologetic look on his face makes him feel uneasy. He remembers their chat on the swing a few months ago. Right after that, the bad incident happened. Seems like he is still traumatized by it.

"W-Wait, Phi! Please don't misunderstand and overthink! I said I can't because I have to fulfill my promise to Fort first. Can you wait for me to come back from my trip?"

"Of course, I can wait! But, what promise, Gulf?"

"When he graduates, I have promised him to travel the world with him. Since he's on holiday and I only have the last therapy tomorrow, I asked him to go this weekend. But, you know how random he is, right? He asked me to just focus on him and not contact you at all. I couldn't refuse him because he used the last quota of wish that he got from his grandparents...", his jaws drops.

"Whoa... This brat really! Surely he wanted to get back at me..."

"What have you done this time, P'Mew?"

"That sunday... When I visited your place..."

*** Flashback ***

On a quiet day, Fort wakes up from his sleep. He checks his clock. His sleepy eyes abruptly opens wide. It's already 8 o'clock. He will be late for class. He hurriedly washes his face, brushes his teeth, and changes his clothes. No time to shower. He immediately runs out of the room after taking his bag.

"Unclee, why don't you wake me up? I'm almost late for class...", he whines while putting on his shoes.

Gulf who is currently enjoying his breakfast shakes his head. His naughty nephew decided to study in Thailand, so he stays with his Uncle Gupgup. They now live in the penthouse together. His parents thought it would be good for Fort to be there so he could look after his uncle. However, in reality, it is the opposite. The uncle gets up early every day and prepares breakfast. Not to mention, waking him up too. Even so, Gulf is still happy to do it. By living together with his nephew, he doesn't feel lonely anymore as he used to be. Now, wherever he goes, he has someone to accompany him.

"Your sandwich, Fotfot!"

"Thank you, uncle! Byee~ See you later!"

"Fot-", the boy runs to the door.

BUGH!

"AOW! My butt hurts!"

Fort fell down because he bumped into the man in front of him when he was about to leave. He pouts. His sandwich is all over the floor. He really wants to scold the person who stood at the door of his uncle's penthouse so early in the morning, but he is almost late.

"Watch your step, young man!"

"Then, you also have to learn basic etiquette not to visit someone's house early in the morning."

"With all due respect, forty-five minutes past eight is not too early for me.", Fort's eyes widen.

"Shit! I'm really going to be late! We'll continue later!"

"Wait!", Mew grabs his wrist when the boy almost continues running.

"Tsk! What else, Uncle?"

"Where are you going in such a hurry?"

"Of course, class!"

"On Sunday?"
