3rd person/no one's POV:

Nightmare was currently in his office working on some paperwork he had to get done. It was very tiring for him and he hasn't slept in like 5 days nor made a present to his gang. He would still occasionally go out of his office only to have coffee to stay awake but that would usually be at the middle of the night. But not this time, this time he was super tired and he desperately needed some caffeine so he stopped on the work he was working on the started to head out the door. It was currently 10:45PM so he assumed that his gang were already in their rooms. Nightmare was currently at the front of his door, rethinking his decision if he should go out or not. Once he finally made his decision, he quietly open his door and closed it so he could start heading out to the kitchen. He had a clean mug with him to put the coffee in so he doesn't have to waste time trying to find one his own. Once he finally made his way to the kitchen, he felt pretty weak and numb so he knew he had to make this quick and make himself for refreshed again but as soon as he made it into the kitchen, he felt like someone was watching him. He shrugged it off and went to the coffee maker to make his coffee until he was attacked behind be someone hugging his waist. He flinched at the sudden movement and almost dropped his mug so he looked to see who was hugging him and saw that it was Cross and Horror. "What the hell are y'all doing!" Nightmare said to them who were still holding on to him tight. "Where have you been boss, we've missed you!" Cross said while nuzzling Nightmare's neck. Nightmare tried to get out of their grip but that he was the smallest of them it was a really hard for him and to made it worse, he was super tired. "Yea boss, where have you been?" Horror asked while looking at Nightmare. "I've been in my office what do you think!" Nightmare snapped at them still struggling. "We've just been worried because it's been 5 days sense we saw you." Cross said while still holding on to Nightmare. Horror nodded in agreement as he sneaked his way to Nightmare's arm to take the mug. Horror was able to take the mug out of Nightmare's hold and placed it on the counter while looking back at Nightmare. He examined Nightmare and said "When was the last time you slept boss?" Horror asked worried as he saw dark circles around his eyes(?). "Why do you want to know..." Nightmare asked while looking away from Horror. "Because your obviously tired and he haven't been able to fight back yet." Nightmare started to blush in embarrassment as it was true that he couldn't fight back even though he's way stronger then them. They thought it was adorable and Cross put his hand on Nightmares cheek(?) while rubbing it with a thumb. Nightmare liked the feeling of it and leaned into his hand. Cross and Horror looked at Nightmare while silently fangirling to themselves on how adorable he looked. Horror then let go of Nightmare while Cross held him, bridal style. "What the hell do you think your doing, let me down!" Nightmare pouted at Cross who just chuckled at him. "Nope! We're going to the living room!" Cross said happily while holding the mad negative king in his hands. Nightmare was about to protest about this whole thing until Horror started to pet his head a little which calmed him down. Horror looked at Nightmare happy that his attempt to calm him down worked.

Cross started to take him to the living room with Horror following behind but once they got there Nightmare saw to more people waiting. Killer and dust were at the couch talking to each other until they saw Cross holding Nightmare. They started to cheer quietly to themselves knowing that their plan worked. Nightmare started to blush again when he noticed Killer and Dust seeing him in this state. Cross then happily walked over to them and placed Nightmare on the couch as Him and Horror sat down with them. Killer then hugged Nightmare happy to see him. Nightmare flinched again when Killer hugged him and started to struggle to get out of his grip but then just gave up and started to relax. The gang saw him start to relax and knew that they won. Killer then let go of Nightmare who immediately backed up but was then dragged to Cross's lap. Nightmare was going to argue again but he was to tired to yell so he just went with it. "Boss, why haven't you slept in awhile?" Killer asked concerned while looking at Nightmare who was trying to stay awake. "Because of work..." Nightmare said in a low tone as he was tired. He started to feel his eyelids(?) heavy again so he was about to start softly slapping his cheek(?) to stay awake but then was stopped by dust grabbing his hand. When Nightmare noticed that he couldn't do that, he started to shake his head to stay awake but when Dust saw this he immediately took Nightmare and hugged him where his head was at his chest. "Don't do that to yourself boss, yell just make it worse." Dust said in a calming voice while holding Nightmare close. Dust then laid him back on the couch with Cross and Killer right next to him. They all started to chat a little while Nightmare was trying his hardest not to sleep hoping that they do first so he can sneak his way out but they had no plans on sleeping until he does. Horror then looked over at Nightmare and saw how tired he was but was denying the fact that he was. "Boss, why do you deny the fact that your tired?" Horror said while looking at Nightmare. "Because I'm not tired." "Yea you are, we literally can see you forcing yourself awake." Cross said looking over at him. It went slight for a bit until Nightmare started to whisper to himself. "When can I leave to go do my work." Nightmare asked while looking at all of them. They all just looked at each other then looked back at Nightmare saying "until you sleep." Nightmare then looked at all them annoyed that they wouldn't let him leave. Nightmare just sighed while sitting back on the couch until he was pulled again onto Killers lap. Killer then started to nuzzle his head while pulling him in more. "Killer, let me go!" Nightmare said harshly to Killer who wouldn't let him go. "But your so cute like thisss" Killer said in a teasing tone. Nightmare again, started to struggle again but then gave up and relaxed in Killer's hold and he liked the feeling of Killer's touch. Killer stopped nuzzling Nightmare and started to pet his head(?). Killer didn't know how Nightmare reacted so when he leaned into the touch, Killer was squealing to himself on how cute Nightmare was acting. Killer notice how Nightmare was struggling to stay awake so he message his hand(?) a little because he knows that Nightmare likes his hands touch. Nightmare felt really relaxed and started to get closer to Killer while closing his eyes. Everyone just looked at him while in awe while they saw him starting to fall asleep. He looked adorable according to them and started to get closer to him. As they were watching him, Nightmare not knowing that they were, they were super happy that he was finally asleep after a long time and that their plan worked. Cross then got closer to Nightmare to see if he was actually awake but he wasn't. They all started to fangirl over Nightmare sleepy until Horror noticed Nightmare's tentacles were out. "Hey guys, you know that we can carry boss easily if his tentacles retracted." Horror said to the individuals looking at Nightmare. "Are you trying to say that you want to carry him somewhere?" Killer asked confused why he brought that topic up. Horror explained that they would probably need to take Nightmare back to his room but first they need to retract his tentacles. They all thought it was a good idea but didn't know how to retract his tentacles until Cross got an idea. "Hey guys, what if we just started to you know like, pet them because I think they don't like being touched." Everyone looked at him and agreed so that Killer was the closest to him, he started to rub his tentacle. Nightmare's tentacles started to wag a little and moments later they heard him purring. They all looked at Nightmare shocked on what he was doing. "Did he just..., purr?" Dust said while looking around. "OMG HE PURRED, HES SO CUTE!!" Killer whispered yelled. Everyone thought it was a good idea to start petting his tentacles to and he still didn't wake up. After a bit his tentacles retracted themselves and they stopped petting him. Once they did Killer picked up Nightmare bridal style to his bedroom. Once they made it to Nightmare's bedroom, they opened his door slowly to not make any sound and walked over to his bed. Once they got to his bed, Killer put down Nightmare but he wouldn't let go of Killer. "I think you should stay with him." Dust said looking over at Killer everyone agreed and left an astonished Killer with Nightmare holding on to him. Once they all left Killer finally gave in and laid next to Nightmare who was pleased now that Killer was next to him. Once they both laid down, Nightmare's tentacles came back out and Killer noticed. He really wanted to here Nightmare purr again so he started to put his tentacles again which made him purr again. Killer found it adorable that he would do that but then finally stopped to sleep himself. The only thing the gang thought that night was now that they found a weak spot on Nightmare, they can use it for an advantage.
