"Just on more day?"Elijah asked, trying his best to get her to stay longer.
"I can't."Kiara knelt down to his level with a smile. It was already Saturday night, the night were Kiara had to catch a flight to California to try out a new edition of sim training.Alora had already left and was probably on her way to meet up with George at the Mercedes factory.
Kiara, motioning for Tomothee to finish up with loading the car, looked back at Elijah and said."I'll see you at your next race."She tried to imply that she would definitely make it to watch his karting.
"Promise?"
"I promise."She told him,giving him a high-five.
"I'll watch your race on the TV."He said, fidgeting with his fingers."I think Ferrari are going to win.
"Oh,come on."Kiara ruffled his hair up as he giggled."Where's my support?"
She flicked his nose and batted her hands away as she made as though as she would tickle him.
"Goodbye."She finally stood up fully.
He hugged her one last time before she moved over to greet her mother.
When Kiara was finally ready, she picked up her Red Bull backpack and walked to the car, waving back as she got in.

"Man,it's hot out here."Max loosed a breath and lifted his cap to run a hand through his hair.
"Well, did you expect it to be cold?"Kiara sighed as she walked beside Max through the parking lot of the training centre in Santa Monica. They had just finished up with the sim racing, everything going as smoothly as expected.Back in the building, most of the rooms had been air-conditioned and both drivers had gotten used to it while spending a long time on the simulator. But once they stepped out of the building, they were hit with the heat of the sun.
"I just want to go back to the hotel."Max said.
"And get some rest before we leave."Kiara added, knowing that she would have to keep herself wide awake when on the way to Australia.
Max checked his watch, then said."Your flight is in a few hours. You might as well catch that rest while you can."
Kiara wouldn't be on the same flight as him.He was only going to Melbourne on Tuesday.
Kiara walked with Max to the car and they both got in,the driver already waiting.Kiara yawned, leaning her head against the headrest of the seat while Max scrolled though his phone. Some fans noticed her as the car passed by.They tried to get her attention by waving and calling her name. She just waved back with a smile.
"Daniel seems the most excited for this coming weekend."Max said, not looking up from his phone.
"Why shouldn't he be?"Kiara chuckled."As far as I know,a lot of people are just as excited to see him."
"It's Daniel Ricciardo."Max smiled a little bit."Who wouldn't be excited?"
"Something tells me that Melbourne is going to quite eventful."She said.
He almost laughed as he said."When you say it like that,I just hope that a kangaroo doesn't run onto the track."
"Hey,"She said, rolling her eyes playfully. "Maybe we'll even get to see it sneak into the garage."
"Are we talking about Daniel or an animal?"Max arched a brow.
She shrugged."I don't see much of a difference..."
Max burst into a laugh at that.He put away his phone and sat back, looking out the window and soon in his own thoughts.
Kiara did the same. But the only difference was that she was trying to avoid her own thoughts.
At the hotel, the first thing she did was take a shower. And she had to admit, all the heat in the air made her want take an ice-bath like she would before certain races.
She changed into a pair of shorts and tshirt before dropping down on the couch with a sigh.
Kiara wasn't surprised when she dozed off for a few minutes. She didn't want to get up,either. But she received phone calls from Lydia about updating her social media, which she lazily did.
With a yawn, she uploaded a photo of herself on a balcony at training centre. And she asked Lydia look through the rest to see if they could work.
