Carlos Sainz

Looking at the karts that whizzed by,Carlos grinned and clapped as Elijah made an overtake again, moving up to third.
"Come on,Elijah!"Kiara cheered on for her little cousin.
"He's doing good."Carlos nodded,glancing at Kiara.
She nodded, her focus on the track."But he's hesitating a little at the third turn."
"Because he can make the overtake on Sam at that point. And he knows it."Carlos said, knowing exactly what was happening. He knew that Elijah could make the overtake. The two karts ahead kept recklessly keeping gaps open, opportunities opening a few times for Elijah.
Carlos peered over a little towards the other part of the track, keeping an eye on the few karts ahead.
"Shit,I need a drink."Alora sighed nervously, then walked off without another word.Lina left with her, both on edge as the race got more tense.
Kiara moved a little forward, closer to the barrier to get a better look as they neared the turn nearby.
Carlos followed her, keen on seeing if Elijah would finally make the overtake.
He looked at the karts, then watched as Elijah finally went for it and overtook Sam at the turn.Carlos let out a cheer in Spanish.
"Yes!"Kiara cheered, doing a little jump as her eyes brightened.
Carlos smiled, finding it cute how she did that.He let his eyes rest on her for a few moments, seeing her watch the track closely.
He watched as she smiled a little, now that Elijah was ahead of his rival. He just needed to pass one more kart ahead. There were six laps left,as well.Carlos knew that he could do it.
"Thank God Sam's parents are on the other side of the track."Carlos said, glancing around."Or else we would have been getting the dirty looks right now."
"I would actually want to see their annoying faces now that Elijah's ahead of Sam."Kiara said, just straight up without no filter.
Carlos looked at her and almost chuckled. He shifted closer to her and put an arm around her waist. But just before he could kiss her on the forehead, she squirmed out of his grip and stepped away.
He lifted an eyebrow, confused at first. She just gave a sly smile, keeping a step away from him."Remember last night?"
"Oh,you're sneaky."He said, remembering how they had wanting to see who would last the longest when apart from each other.
She just lifted her chin, going back to watching the karts.
He got a little annoyed, actually. He took a chance and stepped much closer to her again. And she stepped away again.
"Oh,come on,cariño."He said,crossing his arms.
"Admitting to defeat on day one?"She arched a brow.
"No."He quickly told her, shaking his head."I can go on for two weeks."
"Really?"She asked.
"Yes."He said, even though he was mentally screaming at himself to say no.Physical touch was his love language.Could anyone blame him?
But he knew that when it came to another one of their games,he would do whatever it takes to win. After all,the outcome of all their games pleased him.
"So,now till after Abu Dhabi?"He asked.
Kiara thought for a second, then said."No,let's make it harder."
"Oh."
"Till after the vacation in in the first week of the break."She said.
"Shit."
She laughed, saying."After that,we'll see who is the weaker on here."
"Weaker?"He said."That's definitely going to be you."
"You think I can't do it?"She crossed her arms.
He knew that she could do it,actually. He knew that she would do it much better than him.But he just needed to get to her head a little."You can't,cariño."
"Fine,"She said, looking away with a frown."You're sleeping in the guest room tonight."
"What?"
"Yes."She said.
"But-"
She ignored him and went back to watching the race.
"Oh,come on."He sighed.
"What?Would you rather have the couch?"
"No."
"So,shut it."
He pouted a little, hoping she would change her mind. But he couldn't say that out loud.It would definitely mean accepting defeat. And he was not up for that.
A few minutes passed by of watching the race,Elijah still running in at second. The action decreased as he and the person ahead pulled further away from the other karts.
Carlos had to admit,Elijah was good at karting. He really found it amazing.Well, cute at the same time as well.
Carlos looked back at Kiara, seeing her eye the track and the passing karts. He looked at her for a few moments and thought to himself. She wasn't really going to make him stay in the guest room, right?

Kiara Wolff

"Get out!"Kiara snapped, trying to push Carlos out of her room.
"No."
"Yes!"She grunted as she struggled to move him."Now-"
"Kiara-"
"I told you in advance."She said, getting him to step backwards.
"You didn't sound serious."He said, seeming to hold back a laugh.
She stopped and frowned up at him, muttering something in German.
"Oh,come on,cariño."He sighed."We're literally leaving tomorrow and-"
"Admitting to defeat so soon?"She arched a brow, hands on her hips.
"No."He said, quickly realizing what it would mean if he asked again to stay with her.
"So..."She said, then waved a hand for him to go.
He sighed, grabbing duffel bag from the floor and making his way to the guest room.
She narrowed her eyes as she watched him shut the door the guest room. Then, she turned around and closed her own door.
Her gaze soon landed on his hoodie on the floor nearby, immediately realizing the trick.
She grabbed it off the floor and went straight to the guest room, knocking.Once Carlos opened the door, she threw the hoodie at him, saying."Nice try."
"I had to give it a go,okay?"He chuckled.
She playfully rolled her eyes, turning around as she thought about how he would have used that hoodie as an excuse to go back to her room early in the morning. He thought that she maybe wouldn't resist.
"Kiara!"Elijah called,running down the hallway.
"Hey,it's past your bedtime."She said, leaning down for him a little.
"I know..."He said."But I can't sleep."
"Because of the championship?"She arched a brow."Elijah,second isn't bad-"
"No,I'm not sad,Ki."He said."I'm happy."
Kiara arched a brow,a little confusion as to why he wasn't so down about only coming out second.
"Sam came out third."He said."So,that means I beat him."
Kiara lifted her brows,a smile slowly coming to her face.
Elijah just gave her one of his toothy smiles, giving her a hug."Thanks for everything,Ki."
She hugged him back, then soon pulled away and ruffled up his hair."You sure do learn that calm attitude from Alora."
"Better he does."Alora shouted from her room."Or else we would have to go in all the time for violations off track."
"Hey!"Kiara snapped.
Elijah giggled, causing her to smile and shake her head.
