Chapter 86

"One day."Carlos said to Kiara,reaching for her hand as she was about to turn and leave.
"Carlos."She smiled,giving his hand a reassuring squeeze."Relax."
"Come with me."He asked,like he had so many times already.
She sighed,glancing around the tarmac of the airport and avoiding eye contact with him."I'll see you in Monaco soon.Elijah and-"
"Bring Elijah to Madrid."He said without hesitation.
"Carlos,it's literally only two weeks till I see you again."She said as he stepped closer."We've done more than that before."
She didn't get why he was sudden so hesitant.After all,they had decided to have Christmas with both their families at Kiara's home in Monaco.He was probably pondering over the fact that she wouldn't be coming a few days earlier to Madrid anymore.
"Listen,we've done this so many times before."She said."Just relax.I will come to Madrid whenever else you want me to,Carlos."
"Next week."He said.
"No."She shook her head."After that."
"Fine..."
She smiled up at him,seeing him almost pout.She found his behaviour cute."You miss me too much."
He mumbled a response and dragged a hand thrown his hair,glancing over her to see the nearby jet waiting for her.
"I'll text you when I get to Spielberg."She told him,noticing someone wave him over to the other jet close by.
"You better."He said."Or else I'm calling your mother to tell her not to let you in the house."
She arched a brow,then chuckled."Okay,then..."
"Mrs.Sainz?"An aircraft marshal called from nearby."The captain's ready."
"Mrs.Sainz?!"Kiara snapped her eyes to Carlos' immediately."What did you tell them?"
He winked and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek."Only what's right,mi amor."
She lightly hit his arm,almost rolling her eyes at that.It only caused him to chuckle and pull her into a tight hug.
Breathing in his cologne,she soon hugged him back.
"Take care,Kiara."He said,pressing a kiss to her head.
She slightly pulled back and looked up at him."You too."
Then,she stood on the tips of her toes and pressed her lips to his one more time.He kissed her back,holding onto her in a way that indicated that he did not want to let go.As soon as she paused,he hugged her again.Then,they pulled back.
"Adiós,cariño."He said with nod.
"Bye."She said,starting to turn around.
As she began to make her way to the jet,she heard him say."Love you."
Glancing over her shoulder,she blew him a kiss and mouthed the words I love you too.

"Alora,she's annoying me."Elijah complained with a pout.
"I didn't do anything."Kiara said,crossed her arms as she leaned back on the couch in her apartment.
"This is why we should have went to my place."Alora said with a sigh."It's closer to the beach."
"All I said was-"
"I cant get this on."Elijah grunted,trying to pull on his little aqua shoes.
"God,I can't wait any longer."Kiara groaned.She stood up from the couch and walked past Alora,who was now helping Elijah.Grabbing the keys to her car,she said."Meet me downstairs.I'll bring out the car."
With that,she left the apartment.
Kiara was actually finding Elijah a little bit of a handful in Monaco.He was really excited,ever since he left Spielberg,since it was his second time staying with her and Alora.It had been two weeks since she had left Italy and she had to admit,all she wanted to do was go back.Well,with Carlos,of course.He was actually in Spain for the past two weeks.The last she had spoken the him was last night,since she had missed his call in the morning.Yes...Her sleep mattered too,of course.Especially after taking Elijah all around to different places yesterday.Today,he wanted to go to the beach,so that was the plan for the day.And as for tomorrow,Charles had invited them for something on his yacht.
"Finally."Kiara muttered to herself as Alora and Elijah came out to the car,a beachbag in hand.As soon as they got into the car,she put on her sunglasses and said."Took you two long enough."
Alora shot her a glare and Elijah shrugged."I couldn't find my beach bucket."
