Chapter 85

"You're crazy."Kiara told Ivy as they stepped out of the villa.
"I know,right."Ivy winked.
Kiara playfully rolled her eyes."I still can't believe what you two did."
"To be honest,"She replied."I didn't think that Lando would make me fly out to Italy with him just for this."
"Well,you won."Kiara said."So,I guess it wasn't completely for nothing."
Ivy nodded with a grin."Yeah,well...Thanks for not going crazy over this."
"I should have."She chuckled."But I guess I could let it slide."
Ivy smiled,then looked to her right.Nearby,Carlos and Lando were standing next to the car and speaking to each other.She said."At least I also get to flex in front of Lando,now."
"Trust me,"Kiara nodded."I understand that type of satisfaction."
A moment later,Lando called."Ivy,come on.Let's get going."
Ivy looked back at Kiara and said."Okay...I'm going to go."
"Goodbye."Kiara winked.
"See you around."She nodded,then turned and started to walk to the car.After greeting Carlos,she and Lando soon started off.
Kiara watched them drive off,then let her gaze drift to Carlos as he walked over to her.
"That was..."
"Unexpected."He finished the sentence,walking back to the villa with her.
"You think we'll see them around by chance?"She asked as they stepped into the villa."I mean,now that they aren't stalking us anymore."
Carlos closed the door behind them as they entered the villa and shrugged."Maybe.They aren't even staying too far away."
Kiara yawned with a nod,then started off towards the bedroom as he went over to the kitchen for something.
She walked into their room and stopped at the vanity table.While looking in the mirror,she started to take off her jewellery.
The night had been...eventful.Not entirely what she had expected.Hell, Ivy and Lando had randomly  appeared.But the main thing on Kiara's mind had nothing to do with that...All she could think about was the kiss.And how Carlos had given in.
It was over now...That game of theirs.She was glad,yet still wanted the fun of it to stick around.
"What are you smiling about?"Carlos asked from the doorway.
"Nothing."She told him as she took off her bracelet,glancing at him as he leaned against the door frame.
"Can't get me off your mind,can you?"He smiled,starting to walk into the room.
"Oh,you smug man."She sighed dramatically,looking back at the mirror as she started to take off her earrings.
"I'm only speaking facts."He chuckled,stopping beside her and taking off his watch.
"Wow."She said,playfully rolling her eyes as she set her earrings back in her jewellery box.
She was about to raise her hands to take off the necklace she wore,but before she could,Carlos was already standing right against her from behind with his hand grazing her shoulder.
"You're bored."She said,lifting an eyebrow and met his gaze in the mirror.
"You're gorgeous."He said quietly.
"Was that an attempt to make me blush?"She asked,knowing very well that he would succeed.
"Maybe."He said,trailing a hand to the back of her neck.He started to take off her necklace for her,saying."But I don't really need to attempt."
"Huh?"She said,confused.
His reply was a swift movement,his lips landing on the side of her neck.She bit her bottom lip and almost leaned back into him,his other hand gripping her arm.
"Taunt me about losing this game of ours,"He said,his breath right against her skin as his nose grazed the side of her neck while he leaned down."But nothing changes the fact that it's over now,mi niña."
At that,her eyes lifted and she met his gaze in the mirror again.Something told her that her night was about to become way more eventful.
Carlos,still having her necklace clenched in one hand,set it down on the vanity table while saying."You're being quiet?"
"Love my voice too much?"She quietly asked,feeling one of his hands move up to her throat.
"Don't tempt me here."He murmured,tilting her head back as his lips lightly touched her neck again."I won't hesitate to make sure that I hear that voice screaming my name."
"And what if you don't?"She asked,purposefully provoking him.
He only met her gaze again at that,his message clear in his eyes.She was definitely pushing his buttons.
Kiara swallowed as she broke the stare.Then,she slowly turned around and looked up at him.
With a sigh,she just gazed up at him with shrug.
His gaze soon changed,rather softening as he looked down at her.
"You-"
He cut her off before she could finish,his lips on hers as soon as he could.
She froze with the sudden contact,but soon melted into his touch as he pulled her body against his.Passionately sharing the kiss,she hooked her arms around his neck and leaned into him.
"Te amo,mi niña."He said quietly.
They paused the kiss and she closed her eyes,leaning her head against his chest."I love you too."
At that,he pressed a kiss to her head and wrapped his arms around her possessively.
Standing in silence for that moment,Kiara savoured it all.
They stood like that for a while in each other's embrace.Well,till Carlos said."Can we choose something other than this type of bet next time?"
"Aww,"She smiled,looking up at him."Love me too much?"
"You know I do."He chuckled and pressed a kiss to the side of her neck.
She almost giggled at the sensation,a little ticklish at it.That made him grin and start to press kisses all over her face as she just laughed.
"Now..."He said,planting one more on her cheek."Where did you put that little gift I got you?"
"The box you left in my suitcase?"She shrugged."I must have thrown it out."
She didn't throw it out.She had literally hidden that red set under the bed.
"Liar."He murmured.
"No."
"Yes."He said."Now go get it for me."
"Or else?"She taunted purposefully.
"You don't want to know,cariño."He said,then stepped away from her.
She looked at him once more,his smirk and his arms now crossed.
Then,she walked over to the bed and pulled the box out from underneath.
