Oookay…

This was probably a mistake.

At first, Wei Wuxian was just trying to snap Lan Wangji out of his trance because of the change in environment that surely would overwhelm the high-tier angel.

Sure he could just slap him, but it was such a waste of a handsome face to be slapped out of the blue like that, so he did the next best thing.

From his reaction alone, he could deduce that the other missing angels surely had the same trance as this one, and that was what made it easier to handle those gullible angels. 

Very neat trick, if he might say.

He would probably do the same if he wanted to kidnap angels – which he did not. Ugh.

They were pesky beings and only caused troubles more than he wanted to handle. And they also sprouted so fast like weeds, it only took them a couple millenia to have their population back to before the war.

Just like humans. Ugh.

But back to the present, Wei Wuxian once again torn between the need to stop the kiss – and to continue it.

Surprisingly, Lan Wangji was a very good kisser, as he opened his mouth and explored the inside of his mouth and licked every part of the inside as if he was eating him.

Damn.

This ain't his first kiss, but it sure felt like it.

But when Lan Wangji's hands suddenly grabbed his butt, he jolted in surprise and pushed the man away.

"Okaaay, that's enough groping. You're such a horny one, aren't you?" Wei Wuxian chuckled, but he couldn't help but notice how his heart was racing from the intensity of the kiss.

Perhaps he could do something about it later?

"What?" Lan Wangji looked confused like he was just out of his mind. "What… did I do?" He asked Wei Wuxian with his serious expression and Wei Wuxian couldn't help but tease him.

"You? By golly, you almost mauled me to death with your kisses, mister. Who knows that such a fuddy duddy like you is actually a very good kisser, but unfortunately this is not the time or place. We can continue it later back home if you want." Wei Wuxian winked at the suddenly blushing angel.

"What? Kiss? What are you talking about?" Lan Wangji tried to act cool but Wei Wuxian could see how the tip of his ears became redder and redder and he took pity on the handsome angel.

"Haish, never mind, let's move now. Are you sure you feel okay?"

"I'm… okay now." He looked so flustered and Wei Wuxian really wanted to tackle him to the ground and ravish him. 

But that too, should wait.

"If you say so." He shrugged, then he continued to walk down the dirt path toward the center of the forest.

It didn't take long for them to find an old, abandoned building – just like the one in the horror movie that Freyja was so fond of, and afterwards she would sneak into Blake's bed.

That poor boy. He admired him for holding on for so long against Freyja's potent sexuality. That kid had grown to be a very beautiful woman that every single – and non-single creature wanted her. Too bad she only wanted Blake. 

Wei Wuxian thought that they only needed to communicate, instead of having such misunderstandings all the time.

But then again… teenagers.

Wei Wuxian sighed as he focused his attention back to the abandoned building instead of his kid sister.

"Wanna go inside?" He pointed his chin toward the building and spoke to Lan Wangji – who had his jaw clenched and unclenched.

"Definitely. I can smell our kind here. Very close. And yet I could not detect them." 

He looked so cute when he was frustrated.

Damn.

Wei Wuxian slapped himself mentally.

"Let me help."

Wei Wuxian quickly sensed his surroundings to find the missing angels, and true to Lan Wangji's words, he couldn't detect them.

They were definitely there at some point, but it wasn't clear whether they were still there or had they been moved. It was like some kind of a barrier was erected to confuse everyone.

But Wei Wuxian would not give up that easily  

He looked up to the highest point of the building, and he sensed some kind of a signal there – probably the barrier – and he pointed it to Lan Wangji.

"Mister Angel, would you mind bringing me up there to see what kind of barrier that this place has?"

It wasn't like he couldn't get there by himself, but he just didn't want to reveal his power to Lan Wangji, since every fiber of his being screamed danger whenever he was close to this angel.

The problem was, was that a warning sign, or just because he was hot and he wanted to do things to him, Wei Wuxian would not want to find out.

At least for now.
