Utopia was just like the one they imagined in their mind.

It was an all white and serene environment with pleasant angels in white clothes and beautiful faces, all sunshine and rainbows.

They even had a white unicorn walk around with a rainbow flower crown on top of its head to greet the incoming guests and angels, and they also had a small fountain filled with blessed holy water for anyone who needed a stamina recovery or a small wound healing. For the bigger and more lethal wounds, they needed to see the healer angel on the second floor, and they did not charge anything.

But still the mythical beasts and creatures were still reluctant to come since angels did not have the best reputation for them ever since the last great war, so the place was mostly filled with only angels and their kin.

Freyr looked around with amusement in his eyes, but Wei Wuxian was stumbling around as he was still drunk from the angel liquor, so Freyr dragged him up and they walked together to what seemed like a reception area.

“Hi there! May I help you with anything?” A chirpy and young-looking girl welcomed them with a super enthusiastic tone that caused Freyr to want to take her grace out and make another batch of liquor with it – but he held back since this was the angels’ turf. And besides, Dottore would not approve.

“Hi there, we’re actually looking for an angel that was brought here around a week ago? Tall, handsome, long, black hair, named Lan Wangji? Can you tell me if he is still here?” Freyr gave the little angel his most dazzling smile and it immediately had the effect that he wanted.

“Uhm, ah, err, last week?” She was so flustered that she blushed and her hands were shaking. Understandable, since Freyr’s look was very angelic with his long silver hair and the galaxy colored eyes.

“Yes, around last week. There were also two females – one with dark hair, one blonde – and a young male – dark hair.”

The receptionist cleared her throat and smiled back at Freyr.

“I will search the database, would you mind giving me a minute?” Then she pointed at the glowy fountain. “The holy water is also very good to cure the hangover.” She smiled again sheepishly.

“Is it? Thank you for your information, I will take some for my brother here then.”

“Please use this container to take the water.” She gave Freyr a small crystal glass that was obviously blessed and carved with runes and it made Freyr chuckle.

The little angel was not that gullible after all.

If any monster or mythical beast had an unsavory intention toward the angels, the spell on the glass would repel them out of the door right away after leaving them with a little burn mark on their hand.

But since this little trick couldn’t even make a scratch on the Devourers, he just took the glass and walked to the holy water fountain then he splashed Wei Wuxian’s face with the water – instead of giving him a drink.

“Wake up, bro, you need to sober up quickly if you wanna see your boyfriend.” Freyr chuckled as he saw Wei Wuxian snapped his head back and cursed from the wetness.

Wei Wuxian quickly dried his face and clothes with a wave of his hand, and he looked around then frowned.

“Did you just splash me with holy water? And bring me to Utopia? What the hell dude?”

“First of all, you’re drunk because you disrespect my angel liquor, second, you were rambling about the hot Captain of the Holy Knights, so yes, I bring you here to find out about him to satisfy your curiosity – or whatever it is that caused you to be on your toes.”

Wei Wuxian became quiet when he heard his brother’s explanation.

Yes, he was thinking about Lan Wangji, but was it that obvious? He made sure that no one knew about this… strange feelings that suffocated his chest whenever he thought about the hot angel, and how their meeting ended abruptly because they were sworn enemies.

“Chin’s up, there’s the annoyingly cute angel who will tell us about your Romeo.” Freyr pointed his chin to the approaching angel. “Hey sweetie, did you find the person we’re looking for?” He waved at the angel.

“Hi there! Oh you are already sober, good for you!” She smiled at Wei Wuxian and then continued talking. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any records pertaining to the people that you’re looking for, Sir. Perhaps they haven’t arrived yet? I can inform you when they arrive if you give me your contact number.” She suddenly looked sheepish and her chubby-ish cheeks were blushing when she saw Freyr – just like every other female who was enchanted by his devastatingly handsome look.

“No one matched the description I gave you?” Freyr frowned. “Tall, dark, very handsome, giving a cold aura, and his name is Lan Wangji?”

“As a matter of fact, there was no one new arrived for these past two weeks since there is an investigation about the disappearance of the angels – I’m sure you’ve heard about it?”

Freyr looked at Wei Wuxian – who looked like he was deep in thought, then he said thanks to the girl and they left Utopia.

“What do you think about this situation?” He asked Wei Wuxian when they left the place.

“I think something smells fishy.” He tapped his chin while thinking. “Did you say that Duncan dropped them at Utopia a week ago?”

“Yeah, he was supposed to drop them here. Should we come back to the bar and ask him?”

“I think we should.”
