"Look, I don't know when it started, but on a fundamental level, I think I'm broken," Lizzie spoke as if accepting the fact with ease. "And, I realise this is all very sudden, but I just– for whatever reason, have this feeling that, something terrible is gonna happen if I don't change," she said vaguely as she finished off making her peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Alexandria looked at her strangely from her spot sitting on the bench opposite her, legs dangling over the edge while she had her own sandwich in hand. She was unsure what brought this up and she grew worried for the witch. She and her twin had only returned from Europe earlier that morning and Alexandria had noticed the blonde witch acting rather strangely.

"The thoughts in my head, I think that they have something to do with Hope," she wondered aloud. "But I can't put my finger on it. I feel like I'm losing my mind. Any thoughts?" she asked the werewolf and leaned against the bench she was at.

"You've lost me. What brought this on?" Alexandria questioned her as she took a bite out of her sandwich.

Lizzie straightened her posture as her face contorted to one of confusion. As if a switch had flipped in her head. "What are you doing here?" she questioned, seeing the werewolf in front of her, slightly disoriented as her eyes drifted around the room to regain her bearings.

Alexandria tilted her head at the question. "You practically came barging into my room earlier and said you wanted to talk..." she relayed the events slowly and reminded the girl.

"Did I?" Lizzie asked and Alexandria nodded her head.

"Are you okay, Lizzie?" the werewolf asked her with concern, disregarding her half-eaten sandwich on the plate next to her, giving the witch her full attention.

Lizzie drew out a sigh from her lips as she shifted in her spot. "I dunno... Forget I said anything, let's talk about something else." Lizzie changed the topic of conversation, causing Alexandria to pause for a moment. "Oh! How about the fact that you're leaving the second Josie and I get back."

Alexandria observed the witch's body language and narrowed her eyes. She was unsure to pry into her strange behaviour but ultimately decided to table that conversation. "I won't even be gone for two weeks. I'll be back before you know it, and you can catch me up on all the bitchy gossip I missed out on."

The next morning, Alexandria sat in the common area of the school. It was still early in the day, so she didn't have to attend class till a bit later. The werewolf felt cooped up in her room so she had moved downstairs.

Sat in an armchair, she had a textbook across her lap as she attempted to catch up on work that she had been putting off for the past few days. Being due that same day, Alexandria could procrastinate no longer and had to complete her work before her first class.
