Y/n and hawk had an amazing relationship when he was eli. They always hung out together and cuddled and went on dates. They were practically joined to the hip so when he became hawk they got matching tattoos with each others name but after that things started going wrong.
Hawk became all in for cobra kai. He was just nasty to everyone even y/n infront of his mates. So y/n split up with him but this just made hawk more angry. Y/n is the love of his life and he missed every day and it didn't help she was on his skin.
Y/n missed eli. The sweet shy boy he once was not who he was now. She did everything she could to move on from him. She even got the tattoo removed which hawk never found out about until the larusso house fight.
Y/n was fighting away some cobras when she spotted hawk saving demetri from getting his arm broken again. She was shocked. It definitely was a 180 especially considering how 5 minutes ago he was ready to hurt them and he even broke demetris arm a few weeks prior.
She watched them fight together and protect each other. This made her realise her eli was coming out which made her miss him even more.
Hawk noticed her watching and approached her after the fight.
" hey" he said nervously. They haven't really talked since the breakup. Yes hawk would sometimes try and get y/n attention but she ignored him.
" hey" she smiled at him. She was happy he realized he was going down a bad path.
" look y/n I'm so so so so sorry for everything. You have no idea how sorry. I should of treated you the way you deserved to be treated with all the love in the world and I'm so sorry I didn't. I look at this every day and kick myself that I didnt but I do love you more than life itself" he said showing her the tattoo of her name on his wrist.
Y/n then felt guilty. He still had his and he looks at it all the time thinking about her while she removed hers. It was a hard decision but she needed to move on and she didn't know how else too.
Hawk noticed her facial expressions changed when he showed her his tattoo.
" what? You don't look at yours or something" he laughed but y/n didnt seem to laugh making him realise what she meant.
He gently grabbed her wrist and pulled up her sleeve to see no tattoo on her wrist. This broke his heart.
" I'm sorry eli. I love you but I thought we were over so I needed to move on. It wouldn't be healthy clinging onto you if we weren't together so I removed the tattoo but I'm so sorry. I didn't realise you kept yours" she said.
Tears appeared in elis eyes.
" have you really moved on from me" his voice broke. He was so scared she had.
" no. I never did. I love you too much" she said cupping his cheeks with her hands and leaning her head on hers.
" I love you too" he smiled and kissed her lips lovingly.
" I promise I'm going to do better" eli whispered as they continued to lean on each other's forehead.
" and I promise I'll get a new tattoo for you and not remove it ever" y/n lightly laughed causing eli to do the same thing.
