Hawk was heart broken. The girl he loved didnt love him back and too make it worse she said she never even liked him in the first place because hes a joke. Hes been replaying that night over. At first it was so nice. They cuddled and they laughed but then it turned into the worse night ever.
Hawk hasn't slept since the fight. He just cried and wished y/n felt the same way he did.
Y/n felt awful about what happened. Shes seen hawk at school and saw how devastated he looked and it crushed her. She does love hawk and she shouldn't of said those things even If it was all out of fear. So shes going to make things right.
Today y/n headed to school and instantly went to find hawk. It was pretty easy to find him because he was at his locker like he was every morning.
" eli" she said approaching him nervously fiddling with her Top. Hes probably so angry at her and she wouldn't blame him.
He turned to her and y/n finally saw just how bad he looked. He had puffy eyes and red cheeks and he looked worn out and he didn't even have his signature mohawk up.
" can we talk about what happened? I need to tell you something" she said.
Eli reluctantly nodded and went with her to an unoccupied classroom.
The pair sat on a table right beside each other. They've both missed being this close together.
" so what is it you want to tell me" he asked softly. His voice sounded so sad.
Its usually deep and raspy but now it sounded gentle and quiet like it was when he was eli.
" I'm so sorry about what I said. I was just scared to admit I loved you too because all my life people that were supposed to love me have hurt me and let me down and I was worried you were going to be like them. So I pushed you away and said the worst things to you and I'm sorry. Really sorry" she said holding his hand.
Hawk tightened his grip on her hand and softly rubbed her hand with his thumb.
" I promise I'll never leave or hurt you. I love you more than anything and these past few days without you have been so hard so I'd never want to throw this away" he said smiling at her.
Y/n looked so unsure of herself. She believes she doesn't deserve eli after what she said and how she treated him. He definitely deserves better than that.
" even after how treated you" she said letting go of his hand feeling guilty thinking she doesn't deserve his gentle touch.
" princess I understand why you did it now. I probably would too if people have hurt me but I promise I wont. I love you and nothing is going to change that" he smiled kissing her passionately.
" I love you too" she smiled hugging him feeling happy she didnt screw it up completely.
