Y/n and eli haven't spoke since there argument about y/n missing out on everything because of her cancer. Hawk tried to talk to her the day he left just before he headed to the airport but y/n was in no mood to talk. So unfortunately hawk went to Barcelona without the chance to talk to y/n.
Y/n felt bad about lashing out at eli. Its not his fault shes sick. Hes been her biggest supporter since she found out she has cancer. He comes to every appointment with her, makes sure shes taking all her medication, pulls her hair back when shes throwing up everywhere and lets her call him anytime of the night if she needs someone to cry to.
Y/n shouldn't have taken it out on eli that shes missing out and she really wants to talk to him. So she waited until he came back from Barcelona.
He visited her the day he came back and told her he has a surprise for her.
Y/n was confused but she went with him to this surprise.
They arrived at the beach and y/n saw a candlelight and dinner set up with roses all over the table and glasses of orange juice because shes not well enough for champagne or any alcoholic beverage.
" eli you did this for me?" she asked with a surprised look on her face.
" it's my apology to you for leaving you out. I never meant to. I just thought you were too sick to come out but I promise from now on I'll always make sure your the first person I invite" he said softly.
Y/n smiled and kissed him passionately.
" you don't have to apologise. I'm the one should be apologising. Its not your fault. You've been amazing to me ever since I got sick. You've really looked after me. I just got angry because I want to be a normal teenager and I miss out on everything but its not your fault I do. It's the cancers fault I do" y/n explained.
Eli smiled and hugged her tightly.
He missed her so much when he was in Barcelona. It was terrible being there while they weren't on good terms but hes happy hes back with her and there good again.
" come on let's eat this looks amazing. Did you do all this your self?" Y/n smiled sitting down.
" yeah because I love you" he smiled taking her hand.
" I love you too" she smiled and had the most amazing time with eli. She missed having romantic dates with him so much.
