Y/n had cancer. Shes had it for nearly a year now and shes been getting worse lately but its not the cancer that's bothering her.
Well of course its bothering her thats shes dying but shes also upset that she is forced to watch her boyfriend hawk and all of her friends experience there teenage years.
They all get to go to parties, go to water parks and hang out and now there even going to Barcelona to compete in a world karate tournament while shes stuck there in a chemo chair losing her hair.
At first hawk told her he wasn't going because demetri beat him in the flag forest fight but now it turns out he is because tory left miyagi do. So y/n was going to be completely alone.
Hawk was leaving tomorrow to go to Barcelona so he decided to spend today with y/n watching movies.
" hey babe' hawk came in to her room to see her in bed because she was feeling terrible today.
" shouldn't you be packing for Barcelona" she asked moodily.
She was angry she couldn't go. She was angry her friends were doing something else without her and shes missing out on yet another cool opportunity and shes angry her boyfriend has to leave during her treatment.
" oh I already packed. I wanted to spend time with you before I left" he smiled sweetly sitting beside her.
" well you don't have to. I'm not feeling the best today and I know you probably want to hang out with someone more fun and someone you can brag about the stupid sekai Takei about" she said really angrily.
Hawk had no idea she felt like she was always missing out. He does always feel bad when hes out with everyone and shes either in hospital or at home sick. He always wished she was there and he wished she was going to Barcelona with them.
" babe what's wrong?" He asked concerned.
" what do you think? You and everyone else in miyagi do get to live life. You get to train everyday, you get to go out and have fun when ever you want, you get to apply for colleges while her am I not even knowing if I'll live long enough to experience college and now you get to go to Barcelona and see the world and compete in a cool tournament and I'm going to be stuck here alone sick" she yelled.
Hawk felt terrible. He wished he knew y/n felt like that because hes always talking about training and he was so excited about the sekai Takei that he was bragging to her the other day when he found out he was going. He felt so stupid and like a bad boyfriend.
" I'm sorry princess. I didn't realise you felt like that but of course you do. It must suck seeing us have fun and hang out together while your stuck here sick but your going to live long enough to see college I promise" he said.
" you can't promise that. I've been sick for nearly a year and theres no signs of me getting better. I won't ever live the life you guys are. I won't get to see the world and experience college and live the life you guys are. So please just go. Go to Barcelona and leave me out like you guys always do" she cried.
Hawk never wanted to leave y/n out. He just thought she wasnt well enough to come out with them but he always tried to spend time with y/n and involve her In something.
" babe I don't leave you out. I always want to invite you but I know your too sick too" he defended himself.
" yeah but it would be nice to get an invite. I could watch you guys train without actually doing anything, I could have just sunbathed that time you went to the waterpark with everyone and I don't have to get drunk at parties I could just have a water or something but at least I would of been there but you didn't think of that. You just didn't invite me. So I always missed out on everything and now I'm missing out on something else. So please just go" she yelled again.
Hawk stood up feeling so guilty. He wished he thought of those things but he didnt and because of that y/n missed out and feels left out.
" I'm sorry babe" he said before walking out feeling like the worlds worst boyfriend.
Y/n ignored his apology though and continued to cry feeling like life was always going to be this way and she'll never get to be like her friends.
