Y/n and demetri have always stuck together. They stayed together as friends when hawk ditched them and began bullying them when they he was in cobra kai but they forgave him for that. Well demetri did. It took a lot of convincing y/n from demetri to even hear eli out but eventually she did and forgave him.
But now it felt like he was ditching them again when he told them he didn't want to go to MIT with them and it angered them he lied making them think he was going with them when he wasn't.
The pair haven't really spoke to eli since they found out that day in the woods when they were all fighting to be in the top 6. Demetri managed to beat hawk and y/n managed to beat Devon.
Today demetri and y/n were stood on the sparring deck talking about MIT.
" hey have you heard anything from MIT?" Y/n asked.
" oh yeah I got in" demetri smiled proud of himself.
Y/n smiled proudly back at him and hugged him with excitement.
" oh that's amazing I knew you would" y/n said.
" you got into MIT? Thats awesome man" hawk said happily.
He was stood behind them listening. Its been awkward since they were both mad at him. So he didn't know if they wanted him to talk to them but he had to congratulate demetri. Hes wanted this since they were practically babies.
Both of them stopped smiling and glared harshly at hawk.
" I'm sorry were we Talking to you?" Y/n asked annoyed.
" yeah it's also rude to eavesdrop" demetri added.
Hawk stopped smiling. He understands why they are mad. Hes put them through a lot in the past and he shouldn't have lied. Maybe if he was just straight with them they wouldn't be so pissed.
" sorry" hawk mumbled walking away to miguel.
He looked so sad it hurt y/n. She didn't like being mad at him but she was worried he was ditching demetri and her one last time. That's what it felt like.
Later it was announced hawk would be going to Barcelona with them because tory left miyagi do because her mom died.
Hawk looked happy to go but he stopped being happy when demetri looked angry he was going and y/n didn't even look at him or react.
Y/n was happy he was going. To be honest she thought it was silly he wasnt in the top 6 to begin with. Hes the all valley champ. There going to need him.
After demetri and y/n headed out together when hawk came running over to them.
" how long are you going to angry at me for? I know I shouldn't have lied but I just want to look at other colleges and I'll probably be going to MIT. It has nothing to do with you guys why I haven't applied. I just feel like I haven't gave other colleges a chance that's all" hawk explained sadly.
Y/n looked relived he said it had nothing to do with them while demetri still looked pissed.
" you promised you'd come to school with us? Your just ditching us again. I should of known you would I mean you broke my arm for gods sake. Your a bad friend" demetri said angrily and stormed off.
Y/n stayed put though. Hawk looked so sad after demetri said that. He's never going to stop feeling bad about that. He hates how he hurt demetri.
" it really has nothing to do with us why you don't want to go to MIT?" Y/n asked approaching him.
" no. I just want to look at other options but I am sorry I lied. I feel so bad and I've missed you. Its been so lonely without you two" he said.
Y/n smiled and hugged him. Hawk held her tightly.
" its okay. I'm sorry for overreacting. I just thought you were trying to leave us again" y/n told him.
" of course I'm not. I'm not trying to leave any of you. Your my girlfriend and binary brother. I love you guys" hawk said sweetly.
" we love you too. Don't worry demetri will come around. Hes forgave you for worse. He just needs some time to see it has nothing to do with him. He just loves you so much he doesn't want to lose you again I mean he was so happy when you started being his friend again" y/n said making hawk smile. He was happy when demetri took him back in. He didn't understand how demetri could so fast but he was grateful. He missed demetri so much.
" I know. I'll just have to keep apologising until he accepts it" hawk smiled.
Y/n smiled and kissed him passionately making hawk so happy. He missed her too much.
