Y/n and eli have had a rough childhood. After both of there parents died when they were little they've had to vent for themselves.
Hawk being older than y/n he felt like it was his responsibility to take care of her. He dropped out of school and now works multiple jobs to put food on the table and pay rent and stuff.
Y/n stayed in school. She was willing to drop out too but eli wanted her to stay in school and focus on her future.
Hawk had just got home from a long day working. He began his day working as a cleaner at a hotel and then he worked his main job as a waiter at the roller rink.
He headed upstairs to check on y/n and see how she was. She wasn't in her room though like she usually was.
" y/n are you home?" He yelled.
" ermmmm yeah I'm in the bathroom" she said awkwardly.
Hawk could tell from her voice that was something wrong.
" are you okay" he asked worriedly.
" ermm yes"she was clearly lying.
" hey what's happened? I can tell somethings wrong" eli said.
Y/n had just started her first ever period and she didn't know what to do and there is no woman in her life to ask.
Y/n didn't want to tell eli. Hes a boy so he wont understand and he'll not know what to do either but she had no one else to tell so she kinda has to.
" ermmm it happened" she said hoping he'd understand that but he didn't. Of course he didnt.
" what happened" he asked confused.
Y/n groaned annoyed. She for some reason felt awkward and embarrassed to say it.
" you know the thing that happens to girls every 4 weeks when there teenagers" she said.
Eli instantly knew what she was talking about.
"Shit" he mumbled so y/n couldn't hear him.
He didn't say anything for a minute or so because he didn't know how to help but after a minute he decided to google how to help someone on there period.
" okay don't worry. Have you got any tampons or pads" he asked.
" no" she replied.
Eli then googled what pads and tampons looked like so he could buy some.
He rushed to the store and grabbed a load and bought them and rushed back to y/n.
" okay I'm back with pads and tampons" he said.
He started opening them for y/n. He looked at them confused. The tampons looked scary to him.
"Where the fuck does this go" he whispered holding a tampon.
He dropped the tampon and looked at the pads hoping they'll be easier to use.
He opened it fully and started flapping the wings on them like a bird.
" whys a pad got wings" he asked y/n.
" I don't know" she replied.
" okay the tampons looked scary and the pads are still confusing me but I'm going to hand them to you" he said.
He put his hand through the door and y/n grabbed them.
" do you know how to use them" he asked.
" no" is all she said.
So once again he found himself on google and he started looking at tutorials on how to use pads and tampons.
" oh God"he said watching the tutorial of someone putting a tampon on.
" okay the pads look easier to use. You don't want to use a tampon trust me. You just stick the pads to your knickers and put the wings on the back" he said.
Finally y/n had figured out and comes out of the bathroom.
" are you okay?" He asked.
" yes thanks to you I am" y/n smiled hugging him.
Hawk smiled and hugged back.
" no problem. I'm always here to help you" he said softly kissing her head.
