Y/n has always been insecure. Shes never had a pretty face even when shes wearing makeup she thinks she looks like a clown. So when she joined the cast of cobra kai she became even more insecure because everyone was so good looking and she felt like she didn't deserve to be in this cast because she wasnt good looking like them.
Today the cast were all doing a photoshoot and y/n was feeling anxious. She was supposed to be in a photo with all the girls and she was dreading that.
She went to the photoshoot and instantly saw how pretty all the girls looked and instantly ran off. She hated being seen with them.
" okay next up is peyton, oona, mary and y/n for there picture" the photographer said. All the girls headed up but quickly noticed y/n wasnt there.
" where's y/n" they all asked. They all started looking for her even the boys. Y/n was in her car crying. She just wants to look beautiful like those other girls.
As she was crying she heard a knock on the window to see Jacob gesturing to let her to let him in. She reluctantly did so. She knew she would have to explain why she was crying but she really didnt want to.
" hey what's wrong? Why did you leave and why are you crying?" He asked concerned.
She seriously didn't want to tell Jacob or anyone for that matter. What If they secretly agree with her about her being ugly?
" forget it. I'm being silly" she said wiping her tears and she tried to leave but Jacob gently grabbed her hand stopping her from doing so.
" being silly about what" he asked genuinely worried.
" its just I hate being around you guys. Your all beautiful and handsome and I'm hideous. So when I had to do this photoshoot I felt anxious because I knew you would all look beautiful and handsome and I would look like an ugly freak around you all" she started to cry again.
Jacob pulled her into a hug as y/n cried into his shoulder. He gently stroked her back trying to calm her down. He was shocked y/n was so insecure. He always thought she was gorgeous.
" hey dont talk about yourself like that. Your so pretty and hot. In fact your probably the prettiest cast member. I can't believe you actually think that about yourself. I'm surprised you dont see how beautiful you are" he said angry that y/n struggles to see the beauty she has.
Y/n looked up at him confused. He sounded like he was being serious but she doesnt understand how someone so beautiful and handsome like Jacob could think that about her.
" how can you say all that? Do you need glasses or something", she said softly.
" no I think you do. Everything I just said is true. Your beautiful and kind and talented. So please dont think like this anymore" he smiled sweetly at her.
Y/n smiled happily. No one has ever spoke about her like this. Maybe that's why she was so insecure because all the words Jacob just said made her feel more confident.
" thank you" she smiled.
" dont mention it. Now come on. We have a photoshoot to do" he said taking her hand and leading her to the photoshoot.
