Y/n has always been bullied for her home life. She didn't come from a lot of money. Most of the time she would go into school wearing dirty clothes and greasy hair because her family couldn't afford new clothes or hot water.
Most people were understanding about her situation but of course Kyler and brucks were not.
Today she went into school wearing the same clothes as she did yesterday.
She hated doing that. She knew people would laugh but she had no choice. The rest of her clothes were dirty.
Of course as y/n was walking in Kyler and brucks saw her wearing the same clothes as yesterday and of course they just had to tease her about it.
" here she is. The dirty bitch herself" kyler and brucks followed her as she walked to her locker.
She was trying to ignore them but all she wanted to do was punch them but she was too scared.
" can you smell that? She smells like shit" brucks said making Kyler laugh.
After that Kyler grabbed her and pinned her against a wall and sniffed her.
" ewwww oh my god you smell like you woke up in a toilet" Kyler teased.
The pair kept teasing and laughing when they spotted a teacher heading in there direction. They instantly let go and smirked harshly at her before wandering off.
Y/n felt like crying after that. She couldn't take much more of the bullying. She didnt understand why the bullies couldn't see she cant help it. Its not like she wants to walk around like this.
She headed off to somewhere quiet. The library. She went straight to the back table and on the table next to her was eli Moskowitz.
He was also bullied by Kyler and brucks because of his lip scar.
Y/n and eli have never interacted but y/n thought he was adorable. He was always wearing some cute sweater that was too big for him and his smile was so beautiful.
Eli saw her sit next to him on the other table and noticed tears in her eyes.
He wasn't sure if she would want him to say something but it felt wrong not to. So eli put his book away and stood up and approached her.
" ermmmm excuse me are you okay" he said shyly.
Y/n looked up and saw eli Moskowitz stood next to her fiddling nervously with his sweater. Hes never really spoke to girls.
" oh I'm fine. Its just Kyler being Kyler" she fake smiled at him quickly wiping the tears of his face.
Elis face softened. He instantly knew what she meant when she said that.
" what did he do" eli asked softly.
" just made fun of me for how I dress and smell like its my fault my parents are poor. If I could stop looking and smelling like this I would" y/n said angrily.
Eli gently placed his hand on hers. He did it hesitantly because he wasnt sure if she would be comfortable with that but he noticed she calmed down when she felt his gentle touch.
" I understand. He does the same to me about this" he said pointing at his lip.
Y/n face softened. She thinks his scars badass. She doesn't understand why he gets picked on for it.
" oh well if it helps I think your lip is awesome. It makes you look cool" she smiled.
Eli blushed. No girl has ever said something so nice about his lip before.
" really" he smiled.
" really" she said.
Eli finally sat down next to her feeling comfortable around her.
" well if it helps you I know its not your fault and I also think you look good even in dirty clothes" eli said.
He still felt like he was insulting her when he said that because he said she had dirty clothes but luckily y/n laughed knowing he wasn't trying to upset her.
" thank you" she said.
Eli nodded and smiled and the pair sat there for a while as eli comforted y/n. Y/n finally didnt feel so alone. She found someone that understood.
