Y/n was on the show shameless meaning shes in Chicago a lot while her boyfriend Jacob is either in Los Angeles or Atlanta filming his show cobra kai but this time it was different.
Jacob wasn't filming cobra kai yet so he decided to go with y/n to Chicago. Y/n was so excited to have Jacob with her. It always sucked being separated and shes desperately wanted him to be with her in the past seasons.
Today y/n was filming and Jacob dropped her off until y/n suggested he comes with her to watch her.
" are you sure? Is that even allowed" Jacob asked not wanting to get her in trouble.
" yes. Noel Fisher( Mickey)always has his wife on set. So I'm pretty sure you'll be allowed here" she said.
Jacob smiled and nodded and got out of the car. Even though hes been on many sets before it was surreal stepping on the shameless set. Hes been watching it for years.
Jacob headed to her trailer while she was in hair and makeup and then y/n grabbed him and took him to her first scene which Is with Ethan cutkosky( carl) who plays her love interest.
" hey e" that's her nickname for Ethan which instantly made Jacob jealous. He doesn't know why. It just seems more like a boyfriend/ girlfriend thing to have nicknames for each other.
" hey y/n. Oh is this Jacob" he said already knowing the answer. Hes of course seen cobra kai and hes a big fan plus y/n always mentions Jacob to him. It can be annoying sometimes actually.
" yeah this is Jacob" she said while Jacob smiled and shook his hand.
" hey its nice to meet you" Jacob said smiling at him until they were called to get in position and Jacob went behind the director so he wasn't in the way.
He watched as y/n sat on ethans lap and buried her head on his chest and he stroked her hair and the rest of the cast appeared too. Cameron(ian) emmy( fiona) and emma(debbie) but Jacob couldn't focus on them. All he could focus on was y/n and ethan. He knows its acting but he couldn't help feel jealous. So he walked away and went to his car.
He sat there trying to stop being so jealous. He has no reason to be. Its acting. He does it all the time with his onscreen love interest.
As he was sat there y/n knocked on the window startling him but he opened the door for her and let her in.
" why did you leave" she asked confused.
" it doesn't matter" he said. He doesn't want y/n to think hes being stupid. He thinks hes being stupid.
" Jacob. Is it because of me and Ethan?" She asked. She knew he was jealous by the look on his face.
" yeah. I know its stupid because its just acting but I guess I don't like seeing you with someone else" he said avoiding eye contact with her until she grabbed his chin and made him make eye contact.
" its not stupid. I understand. I get jealous all the time watching cobra kai when I see you with hannah kepple but I know there's nothing going on between you. Its just acting. I promise your the only one I want" she said kissing him gently.
Jacob smiled happy she didnt judge him for being stupid and overthinking.
" I love you" he said happily.
" I love you too" y/n said smiling.
