Following the success of her book, Kate will embark on a series of trips throughout Oregon to elementary schools starting March 20 to promote her book along with Victoria and Max, who have actively supported her in the project, with even Principal Wells accompanying them to especially promote Blackwell Academy.

Earlier this month, the jury decided that both were guilty of the following crimes: kidnapping as many as 20 teenagers, abusing them and possessing drugs with which they kidnapped the aforementioned, both being sentenced to ten life terms by the judge.
Max and Chloe
During this time frame Max and Chloe often hung out with Warren and Brooke, allowing Chloe to have new friends after a long time, even managing on more than one occasion to talk to Kate and thank her for that bible she had given Joyce in the past. Chloe after her fight with David managed to clarify with him, but keeping a minimum distance so as not to be hurt again. Max, on the other hand, is continuing with his studies, and for Chloe's birthday he plans to give her a trip for himself and her to Portland, since they had talked about this trip on more than one occasion.
David Madsen
Following his fight with Chloe, David decided with the help of Joyce and Max to organize a surprise party to show her that he cared about her, and to make up for what had happened. Thanks in part to the support of the owner of the Two Whales, Chloe gets the morning shift and Joyce the day off so that she could prepare decorations for the party, with David then going to pick her up instead of waiting for her to return on the bus.
"Hey Chloe."
"Hi David, I wasn't expecting you to pick me up."
"I was just passing by and took advantage of it, Get in the car."
"Okay."
"How was your day at work today?"
"Hella boring. The same stuff always happens: serve that one, serve the other, don't let him drink too much etc. I don't know how Mom still works at it."
The car ride continues with a long silence until they arrive home, when waiting for Chloe at the house are Max, Joyce, Warren, Brooke, Justin, Kate, Steph, and Mikey.
"SURPRISEEEEEE!"
"Okay, this is totally unexpected."
"It took us a while to put this party together, and we have David to thank who it all started with." Says Joyce
"What!"
"Chloe listen, when we argued last time I felt tremendous guilt, because I didn't expect you to plan to give that gift to Joyce and me, and I ended up misunderstanding everything by acting like a step-douche again. This party was the least I could do, and even if you don't have to forgive me as long as you're happy."
"Of course I forgive you David."
David and Chloe hug each other in front of everyone present, eliciting Joyce's and Max's commotion.
"Now for the serious stuff, though: how did you manage to invite Mikey and Steph, too?
"All I had to do was search the Blackwell alumni section and talk to Justin to track down their numbers and call them. They pretty much immediately agreed to join the party."
"Thank you David."
As soon as the party starts, Chloe goes to say hello to Mikey and Steph whom she hasn't seen in a long time.
"Wow, it's good to see you guys after all this time."
"It's the same for us too." Says Steph
"How's life Chloe?" Mikey asks
