"N-No. Stay the way you are."

Yang's face twisted in a wicked smile and I realised there was a spark in his eyes. It was as if he was assessing me and by staring at me, he'd know me better. "Very well then. Your loss." He said and shrugged.

"Now," he sighed, letting go of me, almost giving me a hard enough shove but not hard enough to make me stumble and gulp a lot of sea water. "What are you here for?" His voice had gotten a few octaves deeper and if I didn't know better, I'd be wondering how a playful guy could go into an all scary and serious mode with just a bat of an eyelash.

I took a thick gulp of nothingness and paused a moment before speaking. "I want to know how we can solve this—"

"Easy. I'll take Yin with me. He doesn't belong here. We're each other's parts. I'm incomplete as long as Yin doens't come back." He huffed and cracked his neck. His eyes were cast downward, but this time when he looked up, they were burning scarlet again. Similar to when we saw his dragon form attack us.

"No!" I exclaimed making him narrow his vicious gaze at me and take a dangerous step-or rather- slither forward. "What I mean is... He, Yeonjun, I mean, is different. We're done and he left me and betrayed me because he wants to know the truer essence of his nature." I explained to the best of my ability.

He did not seem as convinced which made me confused. How else can I explain it to him? I was saying the truth after all. Before I could talk any further though, he clicked his tongue and nodded. He perhaps read my mind again. The truth.

"Serves you right Angel. Should've left you ages ago because you—" he sneered. "You were and will always be bad news."

I balled my palms into a fist and was about to defend himself when he waved his hand in front of my face dismissively and spoke again. "Had you not waltzed into our lives, my life, everything would be alright. None of this would've happened and now," he smiled. Dangerously. "Now I want vengeance."

I shiver ran down my spine and fear coiled in my heart. It felt like my brain just came to a force shut when I heard him speak. He was serious and I knew that. "No Yang—"

"Yeonjun." He said sternly. "Your goody two shoes golden dragon is a part of me. Don't you forget that. Ever." He looked at me straight, staring into my soul perhaps and for a moment I swore he was about to ask me something else, but then he hesitated and scoffed, looking away.

"I come in peace." I said again and forced myself to move forward towards him and stand tall and confident as good as I could. "Come with me."

He titled his head then looked at me as if considering for a long time. His lips slowly curled into an 'o' shape and he let out a chuckle. "I took your offer into consideration..." He trailed off, keeping his sweet smile on. It was sickly sweet.

His smile fell,
"Declined."

"When will she be back!?" Yeonjun asked exasperatedly, striding back and forth the living room for what felt like the hundredth time that day.

"Yeonjun relax. She's fine." Namjoon said trying to ease him up as he urged the guy to take a seat. He did, but only for a second before springing back up.

"Soobin shouldn't have left her alone! Why did he have to leave!? What if Yang does something to her!" He gasped and almost started pulling his own hair apart in the frustration of not being able to do anything. He felt like the biggest failure because everytime it seemed like he failed to protect the one girl he cared about the most in the world.

"Yeonjun-" Beomgyu stood up and sighed. "The plan wouldn't have worked hard Soobin walked in there with her. For all we know, there'd be two people dead before sun down and that is to say something because when they left for there, it was already about to be sunset." He groaned and shook his head.

"Besides," Soobin interjected calmly, although with a cautious expression. "I've given her the keychain. If she's in danger, we'd know. You'd know." He said trying to reassure his friend.

Yeonjun shook his head and threw it back on the headrest, hating the situation they were in. Why did this have to happen to them? What in the entire vast Universe was this?

"Look! Don't think negatively okay!" Kai explained as he got up to his feet, and threw a look at each of the people present in the room. "Let's just hope for the best."

Taehyun who was quite this whole time, hummed and said. "And besides guys, we'd only be making the situation worse for us by overthinking. Look I know Hyun-Ae... I've seen her conviction when she's decided on to something and she chose this for herself so I believe in her. You should too... If not for her, I couldn't have brought you guys back alone." He said and pursed his lips offering a little smile making Soobin mirror his smile and nodding his head to second his claim.

"I just... She really looked like she hated me when she pushed me away after Namjoon hyung did whatever he did." Mumbled Yeonjun with his eyes stuck on the floor, probably staring into space and back into the memory of the day.

"Yeonjun, you know why. Her head's filled with a false perception of reality for Yang to fully believe her. Plus, not like she can't be disillusioned..." Namjoon trailed off and then muttered, "This way, she can probably think things through a new lens when her actual memories come back. Only she can fix this."

Yeonjun bit his lip but didn't raise his head up, but whispered, "Please be okay, Jagiya..."
