I stood in the middle of the room with my eyes focussed on Namjoon who slowly took a step before me. I felt too tiny in front of him to be honest. My friends were pretty tall themselves, but Namjoon was pretty broad as well. The heaviness of the air seemed to be falling down on my shoulder, trying to bring me down with the burden of the plan we'd be trying to carry out. I was nervous, more than ever because by now I had chewed my entire lip off.
"Relax Hyun Ae, take a deep breath and count to 3 before releasing. You're going to be just fine." Namjoon said calmly as he rubbed his palms together. He noticed the stoic look on my face and smiled, showing the dimples on his cheeks. "I promise." He said to further reassure me as I did what he asked me to.
I felt a pair of hands holding mine from both sides and looked up to see Yeonjun and Soobin on both sides of me. They both have me a reassuring look.
The plan we had come up with was that my memory would be altered into intense regret and guilt for the disruption in the Universe I had unknowingly created along with that, I'd be upset with Yeonjun, so much that I'd want to undo whatever I've done. I'd technically behave like my memories have returned. Like they should. Ultimately, Soobin would lead me to the evil Yeonjun because he's a celestial being and they can sense each other.
I closed my eyes as I felt a cool yet intense pressure on my brain. It was like a cold cushion comprising of ice and cotton was being pushed down on me. I could hear my friends laughing, the things we've been through, the warmth of their hands searing through my veins and their faces slowly morphing into expressions I've never seen. Our scenarios we've spent together, changing and distorting to memories I've never lived before and yet my heart palpitated as if it felt those memories in my head and felt it to be too real.
It felt like hours and must have been because the moment I shot my eyes open, it was close to sunset. I was gasping and has broken into a cold sweat.

"Hyun-Ae!? You're awake! How are you feeling?" Yeonjun said hurriedly asked coming to my side and holding me by my shoulders.
I stared with scorn in my eyes at him. How could he act like everything was fine between us when it clearly wasn't? What is wrong with him. This is why I had had enough and despised him.
"Get away from me!" I cried shoving him off me and glaring at him. After betraying me and all that he's done, how could he even dare to come so much as near me?
He looked at me with a baffled look and shock in his eyes and slowly stood up from the floor, taking a few steps back. Soobin put a hand on his shoulder and offered him a comforting smile before nudging his head for him to go away.
When me and Soobin were finally alone, I huffed and crossed my arms. "How could you be nice to him? He vowed to only love me, and then broke that vow to gain more powers by hurting me just because he's discovered he's a so called nature's force called Yin!" He exclaimed unbelievably.
What shocked me though was Soobin's reaction. He let out a chuckle before covering his mouth and said. "Namjoon hyung is really good at this, huh..."
This infuriated me even more. "What do you mean!? He only showed me the truth! Now... Now take me to Yang. We have business." I say more quitely but nonetheless, a frown adorned my face, my heart thrumming in my chest as I sat upright and balled my palms into fists. Why was I feeling scared? I was... Perhaps... Feeling sad because of how Yeonjun and I spent so much time together only for him to not only betray me but all of us.
Soobin nodded wordlessly and led me outside. I didn't take a look behind. The only way I had was forward, for the better or worse. I watched as Soobin tried to trace Yang's essence. He looked focussed, as if he wasn't even hearing my voice or wasn't in the same dimension as me. It was really aww striking how celestial beings managed to look just like us, yet, they were in a position far above us. They had more intellect, far beyond our knowledge and more responsibility.
I thought back to my soul's memories. Now that Namjoon had helped me get it, I couldn't believe that even after being an angel of the Heaven, I comitted the sin of falling for someone I shouldn't have. I was supposed to choose one of my soulmates... Not... Yeonjun. Be it his Yin form or Yang form. Love was such a dangerous thing... It pushed us beyond our morals and twisted our perceptions of wrongs and rights blurring the boundaries between them.
"I located him." Said Soobin finally, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Where?" I asked.
He looked ahead and said, "In the sea cave. We'll find him. That's where his lair is for now. I can feel his energy from here." He explained while we started to walk briskly.
I wondered how his energy would feel like. Sana, Yoongi and everyone said that there's no good or evil in Yin and Yang, but for simple human perception, it did seem like Yang truly was evil. Wasn't he?
"We're here." Soobin said coming to a stop and beckoning me forward down the stairs carved down the hillside and towards a large cave, just in the mouth of the sea. I bit my lip and clasped my hands.
"From here on, you go alone... Don't worry, here take this, this charm will protect you from any harm." Said Soobin and handed me a golden teddy bear keychain with a smile. "You're in your human form... And he's... Well, he isn't a human here. So use it when you need it."
"Will you come to rescue me then?" I asked softly not really understanding the purpose.
He shook his head with a smile. "Yin will."
I frowned and was about to interject when he put a finger on my lips and indicated me to not talk anymore and instead go ahead as he nervously waved his hand at me, showing both his thumbs up. "Good luck! We'll be waiting for you!" He exclaimed before leaving. I finally turned around and started going down the stairs.
Guess it's time to find out.
