Taehyun shuffled in his place and rubbed his palms together while he stared out the window at the vast inky blue sky staring back at him. The night was calm, there were a few stars scattered in the sky and it would've been a perfectly fine night had it not been because of the obvious.

"What's Hyun-Ae doing now?" He turned around to ask Kai who had just walked out of the bedroom to drop himself on the couch.

"I don't know. She's calm." He shrugged making Taehyun frown.

"And?"

Kai looked back up and shrugged again. "And nothing. She's not freaking out or anything... Beomgyu is with her but I don't think we're gonna get much reaction out of her anytime soon. It's like..." He trailed off trying to think of a correct analogy to correlate to her. "It's like she just shed her old anxious self with all that crying to a brand new weirdly calm self."

Taehyun opened his mouth to ask something else, but Soobin walked in right at that moment, holding two cups of hot chocolate and setting it on the coffee table. "Drink up, warm yourselves. We were out in the cold for too long. I've given Beomgyu and Hyun-Ae there's." Saying this he took a few steps to grab his own mug from the kitchen counter.

"What do you think is going on?" Asked Taehyun as he drew the curtains close and walked towards the couch to sit next to Kai.

"I... Well..." Soobin stared at the swirling brown liquid in his cup for a moment and considered his thoughts. "I don't know... The only thing I can think of is that she doesn't want to think anymore."

To this, the other two boys hummed and nodded their heads before taking a sip from their respective drinks. It hadn't even been that long, when suddenly a blinding light opened up into space, making the boys shield their eyes. "What the—" groaned Taehyun and tried to close open an eye but the light was gone just as soon as the light flashed. It was like a portal just opened and closed. Technically it did because, two old friends stood before them with a beaming face.

"Hey there! Missed us?" Sana smiled at the three.

"It's done. We've successfully restored the Universe back to its harmonious state!" Jimin exclaimed as he turned to look at Sana and back at them.

"What? What do you mean? And where are the others?" Asked Soobin as he abruptly stood up.

"Exactly what you think." Said Sana. "The others are at the Magic Shop, can't keep it closed for too long, right?" She chuckled.

Jimin nodded and said, "Anyway, where's Hyun-Ae and Yeonjun? We just came here to thank them. This was quicker than we thought but most welcome regardless. So?"

The three exchanged confused glances when they heard this and looked back. "What? I don't understand..." Kai had just started but could barely grasp what they were saying himself, so had to take a moment to formulate the right words.

It was right then when Sana and Jimin knew, something was not right. Their smiles slowly faded and they shared a look anticipating something, they were not too thrilled to even think of. Sana muttered something along the lines of, 'oh no' and Jimin finally said, "So you don't know huh?"

"What are you talking about?" Soobin asked which is exactly when Hyun-Ae and Beomgyu emerged from the room.

"I'll tell you." Said Hyun-Ae. "Yin and Yang have merged. Our Yeonjun is not coming back, but the Yeonjun that was always supposed to be might." Her eyes fell on Sana and Jimin and she forced a smile to greet them before slowly walking over to hug them.

"Wait what?" Kai looked at Beomgyu and back at her. "How do you know?"

"Do the math Kai." Beomgyu grumbled and sighed.

"I can't, okay? Yeonjun went in there to talk to him. He didn't say they were merging right then, he should at least have given us a final goodbye as his Yin self or whatever, right!?" Said Kai throwing his hands up in frustration.

"Ideally yes, but the Universe can be restored back only when they have merged. It's done." Replied Beomgyu. A gasp escaped Kai's lips and he looked back at Hyun-Ae. "Did you know?" He mumbled softly making the girl smile back softly and nod. "I knew it when we decided to come back. Yeonjun wouldn't have taken so long otherwise... And Yang wouldn't hurt his other half... It was the only logical thing." She said and looked down at her feet. "I wonder if he'll... Be the same. Probably not but," she chuckled wryly and then looked at Sana and Jimin, seeking for some comfort. "He wouldn't hate me right?"

"Of course not! It can't be Hyun-Ae!" Sana exclaimed quickly unsure of how else to comfort her, but again, she wasn't lying either.

It was then that a knock came on the door making them look towards it. "I'll get it." Said Soobin but Hyun-Ae rushed towards it and said, "No. It's him... I'll answer it. I need to see it for myself..." There was only so much he could do for her, because the helpless look on her face honestly broke his heart too.

She took a deep breath to settle her nerves before she finally pulled the door open to come face to face with Yeonjun. He looked like himself, but not quite. He stood tall, with a smile on that beautiful face, but the sweet smile, was slight foreign and the recognition in his eyes felt deeper than before. His hair was a little messy but it had changed. It was completely black apart from the blonde streaks peaking through them and then he did something, he gently stroked under her chin with a finger to tilt it up and leaned teasingly close, a mysterious snicker leaving his lips.

"Won't you invite me in, Angel?"
