"Soobin!" Hyun Ae rushed to the boy, grabbing his arm and almost pulling him with herself. "Help me find Yang. I need to fix this. I need to apologise to him!" She exclaimed.

"Ok but, wait!" Soobin said holding her firmly. "What about Yeonjun? He says he doesn't want to be one with him? What will you do about it? And don't forget that Yang might just be too past taking apologies... What if he just wants to cause destruction now?" He said generating his active, very valid concerns in fact.

The girl paused and thought about it, and the fact that he was right, did not do much to ease the growing tension inside her. "I... What can I do...?" She mumbled and then turned to Beomgyu, Kai and Taehyun for some much needed help.

"Ah just, leave your Yeonjun up to us." Said Kai and looked at the other two. "Let's wing it boys." He grinned. "We have to help our kindred spirits." He giggled and was about brush Beomgyu's hand before the later held his hand and almost bit his palm. "Don't you dare! My head is about to burst and these love birds and technically the entire Universe's stability is depending on us three poor souls. I will take it on you." He glared making Soobin let out a soft laugh earning yet another glare.

"Hey you don't get to laugh okay!" Taehyun pointed out.

"Hey why not! Don't forget that I helped you get your friends back before!" He glared back.

Hyun-Ae couldn't help but feel comforted at the sight to know that her friends were always there to have her back... No matter how badly she had previously messed up. Maybe if she had them by her side to begin with, it wouldn't happen?

"Guys okay let's-" she was cut off by all the boys looking at her and pointing together. "Not one word from you!!!"

Yeonjun was sitting by himself in the kitchen with a mug in his hand as he absent mindedly brought it to his lips only to get pricked by a burning sensation over his tongue snapping him back to conscious as thr cup almost dropped from his hand but instead landed on the edge of the table. "Hot hot-" he groaned and kissed his teeth with a frown.

"Yeah that happens when you're daydreaming or worrying too much to actually be present in the moment." He looked up to see where the voice came from and sighed with a roll of his eyes. Of course it was Soobin.

"Ooh! Can I have some?" Said Kai sitting across him with a spark glinting in his eyes.

Yeonjun settled his gaze on his weirdly excited friend and said, "you don't even know what I'm drinking!"

"Eh." Shrugged Kai stealing the mug to his side and looking down much expectantly only to see a steaming cup of... Water. "As long as it's not vodka." He chuckled before blowing a little air into it earning a smack against his head. "Why would I drink vodka yahh! You really are a little dense!" Yeonjun grumbled making the latter pout.

"But it does makes sense that you're drinking hot water. You need to calm your nerves, now don't you? Let me guess, you're nervous about merging your soul with Yang." Soobin said offering him an apologetic, sheepish look.

"I'm not merging with that demon-"

"He's literally you." Interrupted Beomgyu with a look of 'what? Just stating facts!'

"Shut up and let me complete. I'm me. He's him." Said Yeonjun firmly.

"Yeah. Sounds like someone needs to learn the concept of loving yourself and accepting your flaws and dark side too." Said Taehyun and crossed his arms. "Waaah! Where's Magic Shop when you need them. Am I right?" He grinned. After noticing the simmering anger on Yeonjun's face, he gulped thickly and cleared his throat before muttering. "I bet Jimin hyung would've handled this better."

"Look he's not wrong. Besides, if you're worried about Hyun-Ae, if she really loves you, she'd have to accept you wholly. You cannot love a person just because of their qualities and dismiss them based on their shadows. Everyone has a dark side." Explained Beomgyu, leaning forward.

"But-"

"Uh-uh. Wouldn't you accept Hyun-Ae for who she is if she were in your position? Tell me." He said and crossed his arms putting him in the spotlight.

"I..." Yeonjun frowned as he thought about it. It was all a little too crazy for him to understand entirely, but was his friend really wrong? "No... I guess." He answered softly. "But, say hypothetically," he paused emphasising on the word. "If I do go through it and Yang merges with me. What's the guarantee that I wouldn't hurt Hyun-Ae because of how vindictive and bitter he is towards her. She did... Reject him." He said voicing out his concern.

"We'll find out." Shrugged Taehyun and noticed the confused and unacceptable look on Yeonjun's skeptical face so he held his hands up. "Look. What I meant was, you love her right? So how come you think that the bitter part would dominate your goodness? Aren't you a little confident in yourself? Plus, if we talk mathematically, your whole self after the merge would have 75% love for her and 25% hate because you love her 100%, so your 50%, plus, his 50% love and 50% hate would make up for 25% of each. See? It's still a win. Majority of you favours her and you get to be your full self."

"Woaaaahhh! You sound smart huh." Kai said with an amused smile in his face, truly amazed by the calculation.

"Ahh... Well I am." Said Taehyun blushing with the compliment and chuckling, supremely impressed with himself.

"Urghhh shut up." Yeonjun groaned, clearly not amused by whatever anyone was saying and face planting himself on the counter wanting to disappear for now. "What about Hyun-Ae? Is she okay with this?" He asked softly turning towards Soobin earning a nod.

"Yes... She understands her mistake."

"It wasn't her fault." Yeonjun sighed and then looked at the boys. "At least not completely... Only if I had told her without being too embarrassed of my Yang self then none of this would've happened. I mean... I didn't even give her the benefit of the doubt that she'd understand. I knew better than her but I got scared too... Scared that I'll ruin it. Scared that... How can a kind, good, angel like her ever like me?"

Instead of an answer from one of his friends, he heard her answer it for him directly. "I love you."

It was as if his heart stopped beating for a moment of eternity and fell into a comfortable silence, melting away any kind of complication intertwining with his sense of justice, emotions or existence. "Huh?"

"I love you, Yeonjun." Hyun-Ae said softly walking over to him, the boys giving them space, and internally cheering them in their heart of hearts. "All of you." She said firmly and stood before him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

The boy fumbled a bit but pulled her closer, snaking his arms around her waist and relaxing in her warmth surrounded by her sweet scent. It was so comforting, like flowers. She was so true to her garden of healing. "I love you too." He replied with a soft smile.

"I trust you Yeonjun. And I want to rectify my mistake. I want you to give me a chance now." She said and cupped his face this time, leaving a kiss on his forehead. "We need to do this."

The boy closed his eyes for a brief second and then looked at the girl in front of him. His best friend, the love of his soul. "I swear on my life Hyun-Ae, if that scum tries to hurt you even once, I'll self destruct just to torment him." He complained with a deep frown making the girl chuckle softly. "Mmm... I trust you though. Think you love me way too much, enough to overpower his resentment for me if it ever comes to that."

"Hmmm... Sure do." He mumbled, pulling her close again and hugging her tightly.
