Chapter 20 - Reunited

Miyuki

Once Kakashi had let me go, Gai immediately tackled me to the ground in a hug. I felt the wind knock out of me momentarily.

"G-Gai... Ow..."

"Where have you been Miyuki? All of those years, why didn't you come back?" He wailed.

I felt someone pulling him off of me and saw it was Kakashi, glaring at the sobbing older man. I couldn't help but laugh, the two of them would never change. I stood up, brushing off the dust.

"I've been around," I responded to the crying man, looking at the younger shinobi that were grouped behind the two men.

I recognized three of them from Sunagakure. The other two in the group was a pink haired girl and a boy who looked eerily familiar to Minato, could it be?

"Who is she?" The blonde haired boy asked Gai and Kakashi.

"Ah, I forgot to introduce you all. This is Miyuki Namikaze, she's yo-..." Kakashi was about to say until I cut him off.

"I'm the Fourth Hokage's daughter."

From what I remembered, Lord Third had told me that my relationship had been kept quiet with the younger students as he didn't want Naruto to search for me when I wasn't ready. I flashed both Kakashi and Gai a look to keep quiet, which they understood.

"Really? You are?" The blonde boy said, his eyes sparkling. "That must mean you're really strong!"

"I'm sorry," I said, changing the subject. "But who are all of you?"

Immediately, the group in front of me began to introduce themselves. The blonde boy went last.

"My name's Naruto Uzumaki!" He said happily pointing at himself.

So I was right, it was him. I smiled at all of them, hoping that they wouldn't ask me any questions. My eyes fell on the boy I had seen last time in Sunagakure.

"Gai, you settled down and had a child?" I asked the older man who had stopped sobbing to look at me.

"What are you talking about?" He questioned, cocking his head.

I pointed at the boy who had introduced himself as Lee. "He looks just like you when you were younger. Is he not your son?"

Everyone appeared to try to hold back their laughter, other than the Hyuga boy, Neji. Gai quickly denied it, pointing out how they were completely different. That's when I noticed that they were wearing similar clothes too and I couldn't help but also laugh at him.

"Where are you staying?" Kakashi asked me as Gai continued to babble.

"My old home. I cleaned it up so now it's livable again," I responded.

"I see," Kakashi said with gentle eyes.

I saw his gaze fall to onto my necklace that had fallen out from underneath my clothes when Gai had tackled me. I quickly tucked it back in under my clothes, turning away from him. Luckily, I was saved by Naruto of all people.

"Is it alright if I call you Miyuki sensei since you appear about the same age as Kakashi sensei and Gai sensei?" 

I nodded and his face had the biggest grin on it. "Alright, Miyuki sensei, I want to challenge you to a fight!"

I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at his request. He had just met me yet he was asking for a fight? Was he an idiot?

"Why?" I asked him.

"Because, if you're the Fourth Hokage's daugther, then you should be super strong. Sakura and I already beat Kakashi sensei so I need a new opponent to face and test my skills!"
