Chapter 33 - Questioning the Relationship

I stretched my body, sore from the intense training that I had done the day before. Laying in a hospital bed made me feel stiff.

"Miyuki sensei!"

I turned at the familiar voice and saw Naruto, waving his one arm at me. It had been two days since I last saw him in the hospital. While he was still staying there under Lady Tsunade's orders, he seemed happy. Sakura and Sai followed right behind him.

"We were going to go to Ichiraku for ramen, do you want to come with us?" He asked as he got closer.

"I'm ok, you three go ahead and enjoy," I told them.

"Are you sure? It would be fun!" He insisted.

I felt trapped into an answer. With a reluctant sigh, I agreed and soon, the four of us were walking to Ichiraku.

"You're a crystal user, right?" Sai asked me suddenly as Naruto and Sakura were bickering about something ahead of us.

"I am," I replied simply.

"I heard about you," he told me.

"I'm sure you did." I said. "Let me guess, from Danzo?"

Sai was silent but that was the only thing I needed to know. Of course Danzo would have mentioned me. I was sure that if he didn't need me for something, Danzo would have ordered my assassination immediately.

"It doesn't matter who you heard it from. It's not like it's a secret anymore," I reassured the boy who only nodded.

Once we had reached Ichiraku, Naruto immediately ordered. Sakura and Sai got the same exact order as him while I declined.

"You aren't going to eat?" Naruto asked me.

"I'm not that hungry," I said, smiling.

Naruto frowned but didn't push the issue further. Once the food had come out, he broke his chopstick with one hand and attempted to eat. However, it was a disaster as his dominant hand was the one wrapped up.

"Here, I'll feed you," Sakura said as she took the chopsticks from him.

"Oh wow," Naruto exclaimed, happily.

However, before he could eat it, Sai quickly took the chopsticks and bowl from Sakura.

"If friends feed each other, I will do it," Sai told him. "Now say ahhh."

"What the hell!" Naruto yelled.

"What, you were happy when Sakura said she would feed you," Sai replied, cocking his head in confusion. "Is there something different between her feeding you and me feeding you?"

"Yeah, there actually is a big difference!" Naruto continued yelling, explaining how he wanted to be fed by Sakura.

I began to get a headache from the ridiculous scene in front of me. However, before I could say anything, Kakashi popped into Ichiraku.

"There you all are. What's this fuss about?" He asked, looking at everyone.

He appeared surprised when he saw me but I only shrugged my shoulders in defeat.

"We're wondering who should feed Naruto," Sakura explained.

"Oh I see," Kakashi replied.

I watched as he reached for the chopsticks and the bowl of ramen. He picked up a few noodles, smiling.

"Alright Naruto, say ahh."

Naruto's face turned into shock and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Kakashi sensei... It's creepy when you do it," Naruto mumbled.
