I kicked Naruto square in the chest, sending him flying into a nearby tree. I had heard rumors that he had trained with Master Jiraiya for approximately two to three years but I couldn't help but wonder, what had Master Jiraiya taught him? How did Kakashi lose to this?

"I think this is good enough, right?" I asked him, standing over him.

"No way! I can still fight!" Naruto yelled, attempting to sit up.

I sighed, turning away from him. "This is troublesome, let's just an end to it here."

When I heard him get up and run at me again, I kicked him again, this time while channeling my chakra into the foot that made impact with his body. His back made contact with a rock, shattering it as he flew through it. I froze. I had gone too far.

"Naruto! Are you ok?" I asked as I ran towards him.

"I think... We can say... We're done..." he responded, his face full of pain.

I panicked as I tried to pick him up, only causing him to groan.

"Kakashi! Where's your other student?" I asked, looking up at the tree.

Kakashi pointed down and I saw the girl already on her way towards us. A look of amazement mixed with anger was written all over her face.

"You didn't need to hurt him this badly!" She said, as she kneeled next to Naruto and began healing him with medical ninjutsu.

I couldn't help but take a step back at the eerily familiar scene in front of me. It was too similar to Rin healing Obito after he took beatings from Kakashi in a few training sessions. Kakashi jumped down behind me, followed by Gai, Asuma, and Kurenai along with their respective teams. According to them, their teams consisted of those who were close friends after taking the chunin exams together.

"You really held back, didn't you?" Gai asked as he looked at Naruto in front of him.

"Held back?" A girl from the Yamanaka clan, Ino, asked in shock.

"Yeah, she managed to down Naruto with only Taijutsu, remember? She didn't even user her Ninjutsu," Asuma explained earning me a lot of surprised looks.

"There's no reason to tell them that," I told Asuma, laughing while scratching the back of my head.

"It's the truth though," Kurenai responded, smiling at me.

I couldn't help but smile back at her. It was strange, being here with my own friends and classmates while also being with their students, who were also friends.

"Now that you're done with Naruto, how about having a fight with me?" Gai asked, excitedly.

"I thought your rival was Kakashi though? Why do I need to fight you?" I questioned.

Gai just looked at me and I could see that he was trying to come up with a valid excuse. However, before he could speak, another voice cut him off.

"Why don't you and I have a go? We were teammates after all."

I sighed, a soft smile on my face. "Are you sure you want to? If your students were able to beat you, you'll probably lose to me."

"I guess you don't remember that when we were kids, I would beat you almost every time," He said, matching my smile.

"I think you have me confused with someone else," I retorted, rolling my eyes. "But fine, why not? Like you said, we were teammates."

He kept smiling and something about it made me want to slap it right off. He was a completely different Kakashi than I had known before. The one I had grown up with hardly smiled, he was always strict except for a few moments and then after the death of Rin, he was always depressed. I watched as Kurenai and Asuma exchanged glances of amusement before guiding the students away a safe distance.
