Miyuki
I glanced over at my teammates, watching the interaction between Obito, Rin, and Kakashi. Even though a week had past since the picnic incident, Kakashi was still silent and expressionless.
"Is something wrong?" Minato asked as he looked at me.
"Of course not," I responded, giving him a small smile.
Minato didn't push the subject and he walked over to the other three while I followed close behind him.
"Alright, I've decided to give you all a test. Since there's four of you, I've split you into two teams. Rin and Obito, you'll be on one team while Miyuki and Kakashi, you'll be on the other. Your mission is to get these two bells from me," Minato explained as he held up two silver bells. "One team won't get the bells. That team will face a consequence that I'll reveal at the end."
"Wait sensei, does that mean we can attack each other?" Obito asked.
I couldn't help but make a face at the young Uchiha. Out of everything he could ask, that's what he wanted to know?
"Yes, but don't kill or seriously injure anyone. While this training should be treated like a mission, you shouldn't severely hurt your teammates," he reminded. "You have two hours. Go."
With those words, Minato disappeared. Rin was quick to pull out a kunai and Obito followed her lead. Kakashi took out the sword that he carried on his back. I just stood there, letting out a sigh.
"Kakashi, let's go," I said quietly.
Without any warning, he began to run into the forest. I couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed as he had given me no sign that he would follow idea. Before Rin and Obito could react, I quickly ran over the white haired boy wondering why I couldn't have been partnered with Rin instead.
Kakashi
"So what's the plan now?" I asked as Miyuki stood next to me, looking up at the tree.
"Miyuki?" I asked as she shushed me, weaving signs together.
"Shoton suishoto," She said as blue crystal blades formed around her wrist and arm.
She shoved me back before slicing at something. I looked at what had fell and realized it was sensei's kunai broken to pieces. She had noticed something I didn't even realize was there. But how? Before I could question it further, I was snapped back to the situation.
"Kakashi, hurry up and help me!" She hissed just as she blocked one of sensei's attack with the crystal blade on her left arm, causing it to shatter.
Just as I was weaving signs for my own jutsu, chidori, I felt something slam into me, causing me to fall over. Once I regained my senses, I realized that Miyuki had been thrown at me and sensei had disappeared, his chakra also disappearing. I suddenly felt irritated.
"What are you doing?" I snapped at her.
"What are you talking about? You're the one that didn't help me earlier when I asked for it," She retorted, scoffing at me.
"I was going to, but you knocked into me," I snarled as she glared at me.
"What the hell is your problem?" She asked before she stormed off without getting an answer.
"Hey, Miyuki wait!" I called only to see her walking away.
"If you don't want to work with me so badly, work on your own!" She yelled before disappearing.
I sighed before mentally hitting myself. Why was I so stupid? It wasn't her fault like she said, it was mine, but I just couldn't admit that to myself. I was about to go after her when I heard something snapping. I turned to see familiar black and brown hair and I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Great now Obito and Rin are here. When Obito launched himself at me, I ducked, causing him to crash into something and Rin attacked me next. She was a medical ninja so she wasn't strong. I shoved her back easily before she had the chance to even lay an attack on me.
