Miyuki

"I'm fine, really, I am."

Lady Tsunade sat with her arms crossed in front of me, an eyebrow raised. She didn't appear to be convinced by my reassuring. I wanted her to leave me alone, to trust that I knew myself and my limits.

"Do you remember anything?" She asked.

"As I've said a thousand times, yes. I remember it all," I replied, rolling my eyes slightly.

She sighed. "I can't stop you from leaving since the doctor cleared you, but Miyuki, you need to be more careful."

"Do you think I let that Akatsuki member strangle me because I wanted him to?" I snapped.

"You know that's not what I meant," she replied.

Without saying anything else, I heard her footsteps going away and heard the sound of the door closing. I stopped grabbing my weapon pouch and sighed, rubbing my neck. It still felt sore and my head still hurt slightly but it wasn't nearly as bad as when it had happened. I grabbed the rest of my uniform, securing the weapon pouch and ran my fingers through my hair before I walked out of the room and then out of the hospital. It felt great to finally be free from that room where everything felt suffocating.

"Miyuki."

I turned to Kakashi, who was standing in front of me with flowers. I couldn't help but let out a snort at the sight.

"You look ridiculous," I told him as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I thought you would like some flowers for being discharged from the hospital," he replied as he held them out to me.

I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Never had I thought that I would see the day that Kakashi would be holding flowers for someone else.

"How romantic," I said as his face turned a light shade of pink.

I grabbed the flowers from him and just as I was about to thank him, I heard the sound of someone running towards us at full speed. I turned towards the direction to see a large dust cloud.

"What the hell?" I said, causing Kakashi to also turn towards the approaching dust cloud.

"Miyuki!"

My jaw dropped when I saw Gai running at me full speed. Was he going to stop in time? I watched as he suddenly jumped high in the air and it looked like he was planning to tackle me at full force. Almost out of instinct, as soon as he was close to tackling me, I raised my foot and ended up kicking him right in the chest. He went flying to the side and rolled, causing an even larger dust cloud.

"O...Ow..." I heard him groan.

When I realized that I had sent him flying, I quickly ran over with Kakashi following closely.

"Gai! I'm sorry!" I quickly told him, shoving the flowers back into Kakashi's arms so that I could check on Gai.

"I see... stars..." Gai muttered as I helped him up.

"That's why you shouldn't run at someone who just got out of the hospital," Kakashi said as I held Gai to keep him from falling.

"I just wanted to give her a hug," Gai complained.

The two men started bickering again as I sighed. I was lost in my own thoughts when Gai said a name that brought me out of my thoughts.

"Are those flowers for Naruto?"

I immediately looked at Gai. "What do you mean?"

"Those flowers, are they get well flowers for Naruto?"
