Y/N's POV

Seeing Heeseung be happy and comfortable with himself brings me joy that I can't put into words. A weight had been lifted off both our shoulders and now we can love each other better. We're sitting in the meeting room waiting for the others to arrive, and he brushes a strand of hair off my face. His touch is gentle and the smile he gives me makes me melt. "Your eyes are beautiful." He whispers softly and his words sink into my heart, igniting a flame of affection and desire.

I playfully bat my eyelashes at him, feigning surprise. "Oh really? I guess I'll have to start charging admission for people to gaze into them."

"I would bankrupt myself a thousand times over just to have the privilege," His words send a shiver down my spine, and butterflies take flight in the depths of my stomach. "If the world knew the depth of beauty that lies within your eyes, they would willingly give up everything they own just for a fleeting glimpse."

"Were you always this good at flirting? You're quite the charmer, aren't you?" I raise an eyebrow and lean closer to him.

He flashes me a dazzling smile that could rival the brightness of the sun. "You have me under your spell, Y/N, I can't help it."

"Don't let it get to your head, I might have to start charging you for compliments as well." I brush my hand against his and a playful grin spreads across his face.

"My money is all yours." His laughter wraps around me like a warm embrace and in his presence, I feel alive, cherished, and seen in a way that I've never experienced before. Heeseung's chuckle fills the room, a melodious sound that resonates deep within me, and I'm overcome by an irresistible impulse. So, without hesitating, I lean forward and press my lips against his mid-laugh, letting him cup my face. My fingers trace his jawline and the touch of his skin against mine makes me feel like I'm floating on air.

"Why aren't they coming?" I pull away and look at him in confusion while he just stares at me with a grin.

"I told them to wait until my gorgeous wife is done stealing my breath away."

"Oh my God, Heeseung, you're really going to make me go crazy." I pull away from him, straightening my posture but keeping my eyes locked on his. "Let's not keep them waiting."

"Yes, ma'am." I watch him stand up and make his way to the door, opening it for the directors standing at the entrance. "I apologize for the wait."

Olivia, with a friendly smile, steps forward and waves off his apology. "No need to apologize, we enjoyed the show." I nudge her shoulder when she sits next to me, putting down her documents on the table. "Don't pretend like you didn't enjoy it too, Y/N."

"He has his way of keeping things interesting."

Heeseung returns to his seat beside me. "I do try my best." The happiness radiating from him is contagious. His genuine smile lights up the room, spreading warmth and positivity to everyone around him. It's as if he has found the missing piece of the puzzle, and now, he's complete.

Everyone makes their way to their seats, settling down before Heeseung starts talking about our latest project. "Before we start discussing the project, I would like to address something that's been on my mind. I would like to apologize to Mr. Derek and Mr. Roberts for my inappropriate behavior during our previous encounters. It was childish of me and unprofessional, and I understand that it had no place in our business discussions. I have learned from my mistakes and I want to assure you both and the entire team that I am fully committed to maintaining a respectful and collaborative work environment going forward."

I can tell they never expected Lee Heeseung to be so openly humble and introspective. They exchange glances, eyes wide open, taken off guard. I mean I'm surprised as well, but knowing how much Heeseung had changed, it's not that unexpected. He had come a long way from the rude and plain arrogant man I had first met.
