=Mitch's POV=

<Fridayyyyy>

"Let's gooooooo." I complained, trying to pull Jerome away from his locker. "Chill! I can't... Find... My phone." He said, digging through his backpack. I slapped my hand against my forehead. "Your back pocket Jerome." I sighed, but smiled at his cute-stupidity. He reached a hand to his pocket and pulled out his phone. "Oh. Thanks." He grinned. "Can we go now?" I asked. He nodded as he slammed his locker door shut. "Yes." He slung an arm around my shoulders and we started walking towards the front door. Before we could get out, we were stopped. "Hey, Jerome? Can I ask you something?" A girl, Cindy was her name, asked as we walked by. "Hi Cindy. What's up?" He asked, turning to face her with me still under his arm. "Oh, uh, I was wondering... Did you have a date to Prom? I mean, it's totally cool of you do, but-" "Sorry, Cindy. I already have a date." He cut off her rambling. "Oh, that's cool. Who is it?" She asked, a small blush spreading on her face. He shot a quick glance to me. "You'll just have to wait and see." He answered with a grin. "Ooh, surprises. Bet that'll be good. Anyway, uh, see you two around!" She said, and started walking off.

Jerome and I continued out the front doors of the school. "That wasn't your awful way of asking me to Prom, was it?" I smirked, and he shook his head. "I mean, I was gonna ask eventually, but I didn't know how to make it grand like all the 'promposals', so I was gonna wait, I'd figure-" I quickly kissed his lips. "Yes." He gave me a look. "I'll got to Prom with you." I smiled, and the concussion faded to joy. "Awesome." He smiled back. "You better thank that Cindy girl. She just set you up." I smirked, and he laughed. "Thanks Cindy!" He yelled, even though it was obvious she'd never hear us. "Where we going anyway?" He asked as we both slid into his car. "Your place?" I suggested. He nodded; "Sure." And we drove off, listening to the radio, with his eyes on the road and my eyes on him.

It's not a walk in the park, to love each other, but when our fingers interlock, can't deny, can't deny, your worth it.

Cause after all this time, I'm still into you.

Jerome and I were both clearly listening to the song, because he reached over and took my hand in his. He squeezed it and smiled at me, and I have a small smile back and I felt a small blush form. He managed to turn me pink with every smile, compliment, or quick kiss. Even though it's been almost two months. Maybe that doesn't seem long, but it was pretty amazing to me. Someone had taken time out of their life to spend it with me, or waste energy for me, or had simply stuck by me.

I should be over all the butterflies, but I'm in to you, I'm in to you, and baby even on our worst nights, I'm in to you, I'm in to you. Let 'em wonder how we got this far, cause I don't really need to wonder at all, yeah after all this time, I'm still into you.

Recount the night when I first met your mother, and on the drive back to your house, told you that, I told you that I loved ya. You felt the weight of the world, fall off your shoulders, and to your favorite song, sang along, to the start of forever.

And after all this time, I'm still into you.

Some things just, some things just make sense and one of those is you and I. Some things just, some things just make sense, and even after all this time. I'm into you, baby not a day goes by when I'm not into you.

Jerome pulled into the driveway and we both hopped out of the car, and we walked hand in hand into his house and up to his room. He quickly took his sweatshirt off and threw it on the ground. "Aren't you hot?" He asked when I didn't bother to take mine off. "Yeah, but no. I'm fine." I said with a smirk. "That's not the hot I meant, but I won't deny. And it's like a million degrees in here!" He said, giving me a weird look. "It's a skill to wear sweatshirts all through summer. This is nothing." I said, falling back onto his bed. "You and your sweatshirts." He said, falling next to me. "I'll be wearing hoodies until we're seventy and watching our grandkids in the yard." I said, not really thinking about what I said. "Our grandkids?" He asked with a smirk. "Uh... Yeah. Hope you don't mind kids." I smirked back, and he laughed. "Not if they're ours." He answered. "Good. I want a little boy and a baby girl." I said. "And I will love them like I love you." He said, and I blushed. "I love you too." I said, and he leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. I went a darker shade of pink. "I love how I'll always be able to do that." He said, grinning. "Why you do dis, Jerome." I whined, but couldn't hide a smile. "Because it's adorable." I shot him a fake glare. "I did it again!" He cheered. I picked up a pillow and slammed it into my face so he couldn't see me. "Aw, Mitch." He pulled the pillow away. "You can't hide from me, cutie." he smirked, and laughed as I went red again. "I hate you." I mumbled, and got up to run away. "No you don't." He answered, following me out of the room. "Yes I do!" I yelled, and ran out the front door. "Where are you going?" He called, laughing. "Uh... Preston's?" I said, remembering Preston lived near by. "Don't leave meh!" He yelled, starting to chase me down the street. "Too bad!" I sprinted down the road to where I remembered Preston's place being. Jerome was a lot faster then me, so he caught up and grabbed my arm. He pressed his lips on mine, then pulled away. "You know you love me." I smiled. "Yeah, I really do."
